Sweet, moisturising, protective

Why I love it

I use hand cream every day. After doing the dishes, I hate the feeling of dry hands, so I religiously apply hand cream.

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream is one of my all-time faves. It smells divine. Sweet and nutty without being overpowering! And, most importantly, this hand cream is fantastic at keeping my hands moisturised and protected. A lot of hand creams will provide temporary hydration but won’t keep the skin soft and nourished in the long term. The Almond Hand & Nail Cream actually improves the condition of my skin over time with consistent use, so my hands stay comfortable and smooth.

3. The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

£5.95 for 15ml or £17 for 100ml with code 14315

In 3 words

Exfoliating, pampering, radiant

Why I love it

Few clay masks deserve to be more than £10 because they’re very basic, but The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is one of those really good ones. This is the first clay mask I tried where I noticed benefits beyond just temporary smoothness. It exfoliates my skin for a more even texture, makes my skin glowy, and helps absorb excess oil.

Despite the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask getting rid of excess oil, it’s by no means stripping or drying. A lot of clay masks can leave oily skin feeling uncomfortable and dehydrated, but this one is pleasant on my skin. If I’ve got a few breakouts, this clay mask helps get rid of them faster and gives my skin a reset.

4. The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel

£2.55 for 60ml with code 14315

The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel is a true treat! This refreshing and zesty shower gel not only smells like delicious mangoes, but it also does a great job of cleaning my skin. It’s very hydrating. The shower gel works into a luxurious lather effortlessly, so a little bit of product goes a long way. The Mango Shower Gel is also gentle. After using it, my skin feels soft and smooth.

5. The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

Decadent, cleansing, gentle

Why I love it

The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter is easily one of my fave cleansers of all time. This affordable cleansing butter effortlessly removes makeup, SPF, skincare, dirt, and grease, while leaving your skin feeling soft, soothed, and hydrated.

The luxurious rich texture dissolves into the skin after rubbing it in gently and can be removed with water just as easily. I love that my skin feels nourished and looks radiant after using the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter. Harsh cleansers aggravate my rosacea, but this cleansing butter is very gentle and non-stripping, so people with sensitive skin can use it too.

Nourishing, sweet, soothing

Why I love it

I apply lip balm every day without fail, often 4 times a day. My lips are really prone to getting dry, and I despise the feeling of cracked or sore lips. I’ve tried tonnes of lip balms over the years, so I know which ones actually work.

The Body Shop Strawberry Lip Butter is a gorgeous soothing and nourishing lip balm. After I apply this to my lips, they immediately feel hydrated and become softer over time. Plus, the lip balm actually protects your lips by being soothing and preventing further dryness or soreness. This lip balm is also one of the nicest-smelling lip balms out there. The addictive sweet strawberry scent is divine. Although the lip balm is a unique vibrant red, the lip balm doesn’t leave a tint on your lips, just a subtle sheen.

7. The Body Shop Shea Body Butter

£5.95 for 50ml or £15.30 for 200ml with code 14315

Decadent, nourishing, lasting

Why I love it

I’ve tried a lot of body moisturisers over the years, and The Body Shop Shea Body Butter is my number 1. A little bit of this rich body butter goes a long way and the shea butter means your body will stay conditioned, nourished, and soft for hours. I notice an improvement in the moisture levels of my skin for several days after applying this luxurious body butter.

Despite having a very creamy texture, the Shea Body Butter is still very lightweight and absorbent. There’s no stickiness, but I’m left with a subtle, healthy glow. I love the scent too. It’s quite mild but very clean and fresh with a subtle nuttiness.

8. The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Light Essence SPF 50 PA +++

£18.70 for 60ml with code 14315

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Light Essence SPF 50 PA +++ image

In 3 words

Lightweight, absorbent, undetectable

Why I love it

The Body Shop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Light Essence SPF 50 PA +++ deserves way more hype! This an excellent SPF choice for people with oily skin or those who like an undetectable sunscreen. It’s an incredibly lightweight and absorbent sunscreen with a high SPF. Once I’ve applied this runny SPF, I can’t feel or see it on my skin. I particularly like this sunscreen for the summer, when the last thing I want to do is add greasiness to my skin with a heavy SPF. No thanks!

While this doesn’t add a tonne of hydration compared to other SPFs I’ve tried, I really appreciate that the Skin Defence Multi-Protection Light Essence becomes invisible. There’s no white cast and no greasiness, but it’s super gentle. This is also a great option for applying under makeup because it doesn’t pill or interfere with other beauty products, leaving you with a perfect, even canvas.

9. The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue

£9.35 for 100ml with code 14315

The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue image

In 3 words

Cooling, restorative, relieving

Why I love it

I always need an intensive foot cream on standby for when my feet need some TLC. The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue is easily the best foot creams I’ve tried.

This cooling foot cream instantly relieves my feet of any dryness or soreness with a surge of hydration. While stubborn dryness takes time to get rid of through a combination of exfoliation and nourishment over the course of a few weeks, the Peppermint Intensive Cooling Foot Rescue provides some immediate relief. By morning, my feet are noticeably less sore, softer, and smoother. The refreshing peppermint scent is energising. It feels like all of your troubles are being soothed and any tiredness is being relieved.

10. The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream

£15.30 for 50ml or £22.10 for 100ml with code 14315

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream image

In 3 words

Hydrating, healthy, plumping

Why I love it

The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream is fantastic. This intensely hydrating moisturiser is enriched with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to keep my skin nourished, plump, and dewy all day. It makes my skin happy and look very healthy! It’s a fairly rich moisturiser but nothing too heavy where it’s going to feel greasy or have a hard time absorbing.

I love that this moisturiser truly melts into the skin. I genuinely notice a difference in my hydration levels after applying the Vitamin E Moisture Cream. This product works well for me all year, as it’s nourishing but lightweight.
