November beauty faves image
Products marked with a * were gifted to me, but all thoughts are my own. None of the brands in this post asked to be included, and I created this post based on my honest thoughts

In my November 2021 beauty faves, I’ve got some great products from indie makeup and skincare brands to share with you.

With Christmas fast approaching, I tend not to purchase new beauty products. I often get makeup or skincare products for Christmas because everyone knows I like them. Plus, my skincare collection seems to constantly grow in size, regardless of how many products I manage to use up each month.

All of the skincare products in this blog post were kindly gifted to me, along with the eyeliner that was also sent to me in exchange for a review. This means I’ve not had to purchase any new skincare products recently whatsoever! The eyeliner has been in my collection for a while, but I’ve particularly been appreciating it recently.

If you’d like to read more about which beauty products made the cut in November 2021 and why, please keep on reading.

1. Geek & Gorgeous aPAD*

Geek & Gorgeous aPAD image

Geek & Gorgeous aPAD is similar to azelaic acid, containing Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate (PAD). This lightweight, watery and absorbent serum help even out skin tone, reduce redness and control excessive oiliness.

If you’ve got rosacea, are prone to redness, or have sensitive skin, then you’ll love aPAD. The formula is super gentle, yet highly efective. It never irritates the skin, but still helps to diminish redness. It’s also fantastic for giving you a more even complexion.

At under £10 for 30ml, this serum is a total bargain. I’m really impressed with it, and I love that it targets multiple concerns all in one bottle.

You can read my full review and breakdown of aPAD’s INCI list here.

Where to buy

aPAD costs £8.85 (€10.50) for 30ml and can be purchased directly from indie skincare brand Geek & Gorgeous. The price of this product is absolutely amazing and comparable to popular skincare brands The Inkey List and The Ordinary. Geek & Gorgeous ships to many countries worldwide too, yay!

Rating: 5 stars

This is an amazing serum that I thoroughly believe you’ll be impressed with just as much as me.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Peachy Plump

The Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Peachy Plump is the only product on this list that isn’t from an indie beauty brand. However, this hugely popular makeup brand creates some of the most stunning products.

This peachy-pink lip gloss makes your lips look fuller, juicier, and shinier. It has a high-shine glimmery finish, without being overly glittery. Peppermint extract makes your lips feel cool on application, and the gloss imparts hydration and smoothness. It’s a little bit stickier than other lip glosses I’ve tried, but it doesn’t feel tacky or cheap.

I love the peachy-pink shade, and the gold shimmer particles give your lips a gorgeous glow. I think the Collagen Lip Bath is an underrated Charlotte Tilbury product. It’s definitely one of the better lip glosses I’ve tried.

Where to buy

Retailing for £25, you can purchase the Collagen Lip Bath in Peachy Plump from Charlotte Tilbury. Expensive? Yes. But I’m happy to pay the price. I wouldn’t say the Collagen Lip Bath is a holy grail item, but if you want to drop £25 on this lip gloss, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

A good lip gloss in a really beautiful shade.

3. SKNLDN Daily Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser*

SKNLDN Daily Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser image

If you like to support small skindie (skincare + indie) brands, then you should check out the SKNLDN Daily Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser.

This gorgeous hyaluronic acid moisturiser has a sumptuously silky texture that glides over the skin effortlessly to help it feel hydrated and look glowy. I love my moisturisers to impart some sort of dewiness, as I think it makes my skin look healthy. This SKNLDN moisturiser 100% delivers on this and more so than a lot of others I’ve tried.

Ultimately, the SKNLDN Daily Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser does a great job of making my skin feel nourished, plump and protected all day. It’s one of my favourite moisturisers.

Where to buy

The Daily Hyaluronic Acid Moisturiser costs £18.50 for 30ml and can be purchased from SKNLDN. You can use the code ‘TY25‘ to get a further 25% off too for an even better price. I think the moisturiser is worth £18.50.

I really love this hyaluronic acid moisturiser. It makes my skin look and feel great.

4. T.W.O.K London Dark Matter High-Performance Liquid Eyeliner*

4. T.W.O.K London Dark Matter High-Performance Liquid Eyeliner image

The TWOK London Dark Matter High-Performance Liquid Eyeliner made it into my November beauty faves because it’s the perfect balance of being pigmented without being too wet.

I want my eyeliners to be super black, without being too runny, otherwise, it’s very easy to make mistakes and smudge your eyeliner. I’ve also found that some of the wetter liquid liner formulae tend to fade and crumble more throughout the day too.

However, this affordable liquid liner has struck the right balance. It’s pigmented, dramatic, easy to apply, and budge-proof. I also love the tip of this liquid liner as it’s pretty thin, meaning you can create small, neat and precise lines with ease.

You can see what other products I like from TWOK London in this blog post.

Rating: 4.5 stars

A great eyeliner, particularly for beginners.

5. iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask*

iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask image

The final product I’m including in my November beauty faves is this sublime iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this night cream. It’s silky, protective and nourishing, and by morning, you’re left with deeply moisturised skin. I feel like this nourishing night cream has restorative and replenishing properties. If my skin feels a bit dehydrated, lacklustre or bumpy, I always look forward to applying this sleeping mask. By morning, my skin feels back to normal and incredibly hydrated.

I think all skin types would absolutely love this sleeping mask. There’s something for everyone with this multi-tasking hero. It’s definitely one of the best night creams I’ve used.

Where to buy

The iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask usually costs £12.22 for 60ml and can be purchased from Stylevana. At the time of writing this post, the mask currently costs £8.49 on Stylevana for Black Friday. This is an incredible deal, and I’d urge anyone looking for a new night cream to pick up this Korean holy grail.

Rating: 5 stars

It’s amazing.

Final thoughts on my November beauty faves

If I could only recommend one product from this list, it would be the iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Sleeping Mask. I’d genuinely describe this as a must-try product, especially for the price point!
