For my June beauty faves, I’m sharing incredible skincare and makeup products from SKIN1004, L’Oreal, NARS Cosmetics, Alpha-H, and By Terry.

I’ve acquired a lot of great makeup products in the past few months. Narrowing it down to a June beauty faves post has once again been difficult, but there are 3 items I find myself reaching for time and time again.

As for skincare, my collection hasn’t expanded hugely recently. But I’ve got 2 excellent products in this post that regenerate and protect my skin, so it’s smooth, radiant, and healthy.

Keep reading to find out why these 5 makeup and skincare products made the cut this month.

1. NARS Cosmetics Bronzing Cream

£34 for 25g (get 20% off at LookFantastic with code LFTFBLOGSARAH)

NARS Cosmetics Bronzing Cream image

It’s no secret that NARS makes amazing base products. I’ve fallen in love with the NARS Cosmetics Bronzing Cream.

This bronzing cream has everything I want. The shade is beautiful. It’s warming and natural without being orange. I opted for the shade Laguna 02, which is the same as the Laguna shade in the original NARS powder bronzer. This gives my skin a lovely sunkissed look that doesn’t look fake.

The bronzer also blends like a dream. It buffs effortlessly into the skin. If you apply too much, you simply keep buffing it into the skin, and it will melt like butter.

It feels uber-lightweight, isn’t patchy, and doesn’t lift any base products. Plus, it feels pretty hydrating without being heavy or oily. My oily skin doesn’t ever feel greasy when I apply this. The bronzer also lasts for hours without fading, smudging, or going patchy.

Rating: 5 stars

This is one of my fave bronzers ever. If you’re on the fence about getting this, don’t be. It’s amazing!

2. SKIN1004 Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++*

$19/£16 for 50ml

SKIN1004 Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ is an incredible sunscreen.

This Korean SPF is completely invisible, dries quickly, doesn’t pill, and blends effortlessly. There’s no ashy cast or greasiness, and it works with all skincare products.

What I really like is that the sunscreen adds subtle radiance, rather than a matte and flat finish. It just leaves skin looking naturally glowy, which is amazing.

This is one of my fave SPFs ever. I’d happily purchase this in the future.

3. By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara

£27 (get 20% off at LookFantastic with code LFTFBLOGSARAH)

By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara image

I really like the By Terry Lash-Expert Twist Brush Mascara and feel it’s underrated!

This mascara adds a lot of length to lashes without being clumpy, too wet, or flaky. There’s nothing worse than a wet mascara formula that smudges easily and gives you panda eyes. This thankfully is wet enough to coat lashes evenly, but it doesn’t budge and stays put all day.

I particularly love that this makes my lashes look longer in a very natural way. I’ve not even used the twist function on the mascara, which switches between a lengthening brush and a volumising brush, because I love the lengthening side that much.

Rating: 4.5 stars

This is one of the best mascaras I’ve used in a long time. I still don’t think it’s quite 5 stars, as I reckon there’s room for a mascara that blows me away.

4. Alpha-H Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum*

£74.99 for 50ml

Sometimes, your skin just needs a complete reset. And that’s what Alpha-H Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum does because she’s strong.

This is an exfoliant and retinoid in one. With 14% AHA glycolic acid and hydroxypinacolone retinoate, this is a true resurfacing hero.

By morning, my skin is smoother, more radiant, and rejuvenated. It really does a fantastic job of evening out both texture and tone for a bright complexion. Retinol also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promotes skin elasticity.

I find my skin has really been enjoying this in the summer, where my skin feels a bit oilier than usual and can become congested. This overnight serum gives my skin a much-needed reset to get rid of any congestion.

Despite being a strong formula, it’s offset with loads of hydrating ingredients, so I don’t find it irritating. I still have to be really careful with this because of my rosacea, but when I use it every couple of weeks sparingly, it does wonders for my skin.

Rating: 4.5 stars

I rate this serum highly.

5. L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect BB Cover

£11.99 for 30ml

I actually purchased L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect BB Cover because of Soph. She reviewed it on YouTube months ago, and it looked gorgeous. Plus, it’s affordable, so I convinced myself that I had to try this BB cream.

I’m so glad I bought this because it’s fantastic. This BB cream is light, looks like skin, adds luminosity, and offers light but buildable coverage for an enhanced base. It’s a ‘your skin but better’ product.

I love that with very light coverage, it slightly evens out my complexion, but imperfections peak through. With a couple of layers, the finish is still very light and natural, but it conceals blemishes, spots, and redness evenly.

It’s super flattering too, as it doesn’t cling to dry patches or sink into pores. The result is an even, glowy base that makes me feel more put together.

Rating: 5 stars

I genuinely love this BB cream.

Final thoughts on my June 2023 beauty faves

And that’s my June beauty faves wrapped up. If I could only recommend 1 product from this post, it’s undoubtedly the NARS Cosmetics Bronzing Cream. This bronzer is fantastic and so easy to work with. But all of the products in this list are worth investing in.
