The Wild Roll On Antiperspirant is a fairly new launch and is designed to be a sustainable way to provide 72 hours of protection from odour and sweat.
Wild’s original Natural Deodorant is the best deodorant I’ve ever used. Despite being a natural-led formula, it outperforms every other antiperspirant and deodorant I’ve tried, while still being eco-friendly.
So how does Wild’s Roll on Antiperspirant compare? In this honest review, I share my experience of using the natural antiperspirant, including how to use it and whether it truly prevents odour and sweat, while keeping your armpits fresh.

About the Wild Roll On Antiperspirant
The Wild Roll On Antiperspirant is a refillable, vegan, and cruelty-free deodorant that’s designed to deliver 72 hours of protection from odour and sweat. It contains 90% natural ingredients and 10% antiperspirant actives. The deodorant promises to be suitable for sensitive skin. Wild also says this antiperspirant will leave no white marks and is fast-drying. It’s a water-based, smooth formula with no stickiness.
The refills are fully biodegradable, and the cases are free from plastic.
There are multiple case designs available, such as love hearts for Valentine’s Day, bumble bees, plain aqua (I have this one), and multichrome. You can pick from various scents for the refills, like coconut and vanilla, amber and oud, fresh cotton and sea salt, and cherry blossom. There are also antiperspirant and deodorant refills available for the Roll On formula, depending on your preference.
Prices for a case and refill start at £13.19. Prices for refills start at £5.20 each.
How to use the antiperspirant
Roll the antiperspirant directly onto clean, dry armpits. A couple of smooth swipes on each armpit is enough to prevent odour and sweat. It may take a couple of swipes on the first use to get the formula flowing through the rollerball.
How to refill the antiperspirant
Refilling the antiperspirant is straightforward. Follow the simple steps below:
- Disassemble the case: Hold the top and bottom sections of the case and gently pull them apart. Unscrew the empty refill from the lid.
- Dispose of the empty refill: Pop the used refill bottle into your home garden composter (if you have one) or your regular household waste bin.
- Attach the new refill: Give your new refill a good shake, then remove and recycle the aluminium cap. Screw the new refill into the lid (the top part of the case).
- Reassemble the case: Slot the lid, with the refill attached, back into the base.
- Push the two sections together firmly until they click into place.
- Twist the lid anti-clockwise to unscrew and reveal the rollerball.

Honest Wild Roll On Antiperspirant review
The Wild Roll On Antiperspirant is even better than the Wild Natural Deodorant! I’m thoroughly impressed with it.
Firstly, I love the convenience of a roll-on antiperspirant. While the original balm formula from Wild smooths over skin easily, it can get a bit messy. Also, the original Natural Deodorant can leave white marks if you’re not careful (nothing crazy, though). In contrast, the Roll On Antiperspirant leaves no white marks and feels just as smooth on the skin.
Using the roll-on formula also feels cooling and refreshing. It glides under my armpits easily without any tugging or stickiness. I’ve used some roll-on antiperspirants that stay quite wet, which ends up becoming sweaty and uncomfortable, and frankly isn’t pleasant. Wild’s formula dries down in under a minute to keep me feeling clean and fresh.
I’ve got the Fresh Cotton & Sea Salt scent, which has a subtle, fresh, and clean smell. It’s not irritating or overpowering either. The scent disappears within a few hours.
Of course, the fact that this antiperspirant is eco-friendly is a massive bonus. The refills are easy to slot in and out. It means you can play around with different scents without throwing away packaging unnecessarily.
Most importantly, the Wild Roll On Antiperspirant keeps me sweat- and odour-free all day. I apply the antiperspirant every single day (so I’ve not tested the 72-hour claim as I’d feel weird not putting on deodorant each morning), and it meets all of its promises.
