Below, I’m going to share my honest review on each volumising hair product within the set.
Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumising Paste
The Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumising Paste is my fave product from the set. This is a shampoo that cleanses the scalp.
You apply it to damp hair, massage it gently into your scalp, leave it for 2 minutes, and then rinse it. The product rinses out very easily.
The texture looks firm, but it’s actually very soft. It’s a satisfying paste that transforms from clay to foam when activated with water. The consistency is super airy and lightweight. I thought it’d be gritty when I applied it, but it smooths from the roots to the tips effortlessly.
This makes my hair feel fresh, soft, and clean. It definitely gives it a lot of extra volume, thickness, and texture too.
Christophe Robin Delicate Volumising Conditioner
The Christophe Robin Delicate Volumising Conditioner is another lovely product. By its nature, it’s not the most conditioning product, as it’s designed to thicken hair and add more body. But it still left my hair feeling soft and fresh.
I applied it to my damp ends, left it for 2 minutes, and then rinsed it. Again, it rinsed out easily.
This feels like a standard conditioner. It’s fairly thick and silky. If my hair wasn’t oily, I don’t think this would provide ample nourishment. But it’s perfect for my fine, sleek hair, as I don’t have dry ends, and my hair is in good condition overall. This is definitely a conditioner for my fellow oily-haired people looking for added volume.
Christophe Robin Instant Volumising Leave-In Mist
The Christophe Robin Instant Volumising Leave-In Mist is lightweight and immediately adds volume to hair.
You can spray this mist into damp or dry hair after shampooing and conditioning hair. I sprayed this into dry hair. It instantly added extra body, thickness, and texture to my hair.
This will definitely become my go-to product when my hair needs extra volume and a bit of a refresh.
Is the volumising hair set worth it?
The entire set makes my hair smell like roses. This beautiful scent lasts all day.
All 3 products work harmoniously to add extra volume, thickness, and texture to my fine hair. They make my hair feel soft, clean, and fresh.
