So, I’ve decided to do my own 73 Vogue style questions. I’ve seen a lot of bloggers do this recently and I’ve loved reading through their answers because they’re fun, insightful and engaging.

Obviously, the inspiration comes from Vogue, where celebrities are asked 73 quick-fire questions so people can learn more about them. The best bit, though, is being able to see their grand houses because they’re stunning.

Here we go…

1 – What is your favourite place to be?

Home because I have lots of good memories there

2 – Do you like your handwriting?

Yes, it’s pretty neat

3 – What is your favourite book?

Alice in Wonderland

4 – Describe yourself in three words?

Hard-working, driven and loyal

5 – When was the last time you cried?

Me and Mckenzie had an argument a while ago and I always get upset if we fall out

6 – Instagram or Twitter?

Twitter every single time. Instagram annoys me and the amount of people on there who follow just to unfollow is insane

7 – What is your favourite video game?

The Last of Us Remastered. I must’ve played that game through like 8 times

8 – What couldn’t you live without?

A sense of direction

9 – How many tattoos do you have?

0. I’ve never felt the desire to get one

10 – What is one talent you wish you had?

Being able to dance. I love watching dancing, but I’m too awkward and clumsy

11 – Do you think you’re strong?

Physically, absolutely not, mentally, yes

12 – Red or pink?

Pink!

13 – What is your favourite thing about yourself?

My sense of self. I know who I am, what I want to achieve and I live my life with a sense of purpose and integrity. It’s something I’m proud of

14 – What is your least favourite thing about yourself?

I have some deep-set insecurities from my childhood that I just can’t seem to shake. It’s worse when these insecurities are brought to light and people realise that I have them

15 – Who do you miss the most?

My sister as she’s currently in America. She’s my best bud and my soulmate and I miss her

16 – Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Successful and working on my blog full-time through generating enough income

17 – What is the best place you’ve visited?

Probably Sri Lanka. I love learning about different cultures and ways of life and Sri Lanka showed me many new things. Plus, the food was awesome

18 – What was the last place you visited?

Malta

19 – Where would you like to visit the most?

Ooo, that’s a tough one. It’s a toss up between Tokyo and Vietnam

20 – Optimistic or pessimistic?

Neither, I’d describe myself as a realist. If there’s something to feel negative about, I’ll feel negative, but if there’s something to feel positive about, then I’ll feel positive

21 – If you could switch lives with someone for a day, who would it be?

I don’t know as I’m really happy with my own life

22 – What is the definition of misery?

Living a life you’re not happy with or not proud of. I don’t know how people stay in a job for years when they despise it. Part of me admires them for sticking at it, but I know it would make me super miserable

23 – What is your all-time favourite food?

Chocolate

24 – What is your least favourite food?

Mushrooms

25 – Best advice you’ve ever received?

It’s a cliché, I know, but definitely “do what makes you happy”. If you’re living a life that you love, then I believe you’re successful

26 – Best advice you’ve ever given?

Don’t let people make you feel like you’re not enough or that you’re not worthy. Also, to remove toxic people from your life

27 – What’s your favourite kind of blog post to do?

Probably product reviews, but I’ve been liking these personal posts more recently. My recent ‘A thought on makeup‘ post did pretty well and I got some great feedback *shameless plug*

28 – If you were another person, would you be friends with you?

Yes, I think so

29 – Who is your girl crush?

Rihanna

30 – What is your biggest fear?

Public speaking. It makes me feel sick to my stomach. Closely followed by wasps because they’re aggressive and scary. Then followed by blue whales. They’re massive and their mouths are bigger than you. I repeat, their mouths are bigger than you *shudders*

31 – Who’s your style icon?

My sister because she has a great sense of style. She’s fashionable and can pull anything off, meanwhile, I’m sat here chilling in joggers and a tee that don’t match…

32 – What is your favourite word in English?

Dystopia. But I also enjoy the word plinth

Be yourself because nobody else can do it

40 – Sorting House?

I got Gryffindor. Not gonna lie, I was kinda pissed, I wanted to be in Slytherin

41 – What do you think of open relationships?

It’s not something I’d want for myself, but if everyone is honest and happy in an open relationship, I don’t see an issue

42 – Do you enjoy cooking?

Yes, I love it. But I think I like eating more…

43 – Blow dry or air dry?

Blow dry. This fine, limp hair needs a bit of volume

44 – Favourite Disney character?

Princess Jasmine. What a badass. Mulan is also fab

45 – Heels or flats?

Flats. I love heels but I’m pathetic in them and my feet start burning after a minute

46 – How do you have your coffee?

With a lot of milk and one brown sugar. I find coffee very bitter but I love the flavour, so the milk and sugar make it sweeter. I love syrups, but I’m trying to cut down on sugar

47 – What is your favourite hobby?

It’s a tie between blogging and yoga

48 – Do you have any hidden talents?

Tetris. I’m weirdly good at it. Does that count?

49 – A positive quality about you?

I’m very loyal

50 – A negative trait about you?

I can be intolerant

Lying. I’m not talking about little white lies (which still annoy me), but if you tell a big lie, chances are I’m cutting you out of my life

52 – Proudest moment?

Probably completing my Masters because it was so difficult. But having my own magazine is pretty amazing

I have two: a BA in Creative Writing and English Language and an MA in English Language

55 – If you could offer your 13-year-old self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Cut the people out of your life that make you feel negative or add no quality. Trust me, you’ll be doing yourself a favour for the future

Domino’s

Yes, I do. It always feel a bit weird, but I love taking off, I find it really exciting

The sound of waves crashing on the beach

59 – What’s your least favourite sound?

Probably nails screeching on a blackboard. I’m cringing right now

60 – How do you unwind?

I often struggle to relax, but I find yoga incredibly soothing and calming; it helps me let go of the day

61 – Puppies or kittens?

Puppies

62 – Favourite board game?

Monopoly. I get super competitive but never win, which is a pretty tragic combination

63 – Would you bungee jump?

Yes

64 – Favourite TV show that’s on at the moment?

RuPaul’s Drag Race

65 – What are you most grateful for this year?

If I think we’ll get on or not

Shower, unless I have a Lush bath bomb

72 – Your motto to live by?

If you’re not happy with something in your life and you have the power to change it, then make the change

73 – How difficult was it to answer these questions?

Generally pretty easy. I tried not to spend too long on each question to give my most natural and authentic answer

And that’s a wrap!

This post was really fun to write and some of the questions were very thought-provoking. I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it.

I’d definitely recommend doing your own 73 questions to other bloggers out there.
