If you’re obsessed with vegan, cruelty-free, and natural-led skincare products and care about recyclable packaging, you’ll love my Delizioso Skincare review.
What do I mean by natural-led skincare? Well, these products use ingredients that are naturally occurring in the world around us, such as manuka honey, safflower seed oil, and grape seed extract. They typically don’t use synthetic ingredients i.e. made in a lab.
But before I delve into this review, let’s make one thing clear: synthetic doesn’t equal bad. No matter how much the clean beauty brigade will tell you otherwise! Many natural ingredients can be irritating to the skin, and many synthetic ingredients are excellent for the skin. It just depends on the ingredient and the skincare formula.
But some people absolutely love natural-led formulae, and they can be very beneficial for the skin. So how good is Delizioso Skincare, and is this natural-led brand worth your attention? Please keep reading for my honest thoughts.
What is Delizioso Skincare?
Delizioso Skincare promises to be a 100% natural and luxurious line of affordable skincare, cosmetics, and body products. Each product claims to be highly effective, with ingredients sourced from top-quality suppliers, according to the brand. Every item is handmade in Canada and packaged in glass.
The brand is vegan, cruelty-free, and, interestingly, “water-free”. By this, I think the brand means water won’t be listed on INCI lists as a primary ingredient, as, of course, so many ingredients comprise of water!
Delizioso Skincare also plants a tree for every product sold! Pretty awesome, right?
What Delizioso Skincare products did I receive?
I received the following 3 Delizioso Skincare to test:
- Honey Crème 400x Ultimate Repair Mask
- Watermelon Anti-Aging CoQ10 + Coffee Brightening Eye Gel
- Bakuchi Anthocyanin Superberries Balm
Below, I’m going to delve into the claims, INCI lists, and my honest review of the products individually. Keep reading for a closer look at the products.

Review
The Delizioso Skincare Honey Crème 400x Ultimate Repair Mask isn’t my favourite mask, tbh.
What I like about the mask are the delicious honey scent and sumptuous texture. It’s really gloopy, in the best way, and, on the skin, the mask is very refreshing. Spreading it across your face in a thin layer is mostly easy, although it’s a bit runny, so be careful as it can get messy! I think this mask perhaps mildly hydrated my skin, but it didn’t give me the moisture boost I was expecting.
The honey mask actually made my skin feel quite tight, unfortunately. I wouldn’t describe it as moisturising. Other than feeling refreshing and being a little soothing, this mask hasn’t helped soften my skin or reduce the appearance of fine lines. It’s disappointing, as I was really hoping to feel some immediate benefits.
Rating: 3 stars
If you get on well with honey in skincare, this mask is worth trying, but it’s a little lacklustre for me.

Review
Based on the INCI list, I was most excited to try the Deliozoso Skincare Watermelon Anti-Aging CoQ10 + Coffee Brightening Eye Gel. The blend of coffee seed oil, aloe juice, and watermelon seed oil really intrigued me!
I like this eye gel, but I don’t love it. And here’s why.
This lightweight and energising eye gel feels lovely on application. It’s hydrating and refreshing, so, in the morning, your skin gets a boost. The cooling sensation is lovely. It’s also soothing, so if my eyes are a little sore or itchy, this gel helps sort them out. The colour is so gorgeous too – light pink, hello!
But I’m not too fussed about the texture. Despite being lightweight and absorbent, it’s very runny. If you’re not careful, the product will end up running down your face. If this eye gel was a little thicker, I’d prefer that!
Although the eye gel is hydrating and soothing, it’s not helped reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, or dark circles. Honestly, I’ve only tried about 2 eyecare products that genuinely help with dark circles, the rest are merely hydrating. The gel minorly helps reduce puffiness but is nothing game-changing.
Rating: 3.5 stars
Overall, this is a nice, hydrating eye gel, and I’m enjoying using it.
3. Delizioso Bakuchi Anthocyanin Superberries Balm
$56USD/$69CAD/£45.60 for 15ml
Product claims
The Delizioso Bakuchi Anthocyanin Superberries Balm uses bakuchiol, which claims to be a powerful non-irritating retinol alternative that is an effective active agent against blemished skin, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. This balm also promises to restore the protective barrier function of the skin and offer enhanced delivery and exchange of skin lipids while super berries further the vitamin content and renewing abilities, targeting ageing skin.
Key ingredients
The top 5 ingredients on the INCI list are:
- Raspberry seed oil: an emollient and antioxidant
- Sour cherry seed oil: I couldn’t see much info about this online
- Mangosteen: conditions the skin
- Elderberry bakuchiol: I couldn’t find much info about this ingredient
- Ceramide complex: ceramides play an important role in protecting your skin against environmental threats and helping it look younger
See the full INCI list below:
Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, Prunus cerasus (Sour Cherry) Seed Oil, Garcinia mangostana (Mangosteen), Elderberry (Sambucus Nigra) Bakuchiol, Ceramide Complex, Euterpe oleracea (Acai) Fruit Oil, Coconut Wax, Elderberry (Sambucus Nigra) Extract, Mangosteen Extract, helichrysum immortelle Essential oil.
Review
If the Delizioso Bakuchi Anthocyanin Superberries Balm had a lower price point and was marketed differently, I’d give this a higher rating.
When looking at the price and product claims, this balm falls short for me in several areas. I don’t think this is a powerful anti-ageing skincare product. Compared to retinol, bakuchiol is nowhere near as effective for me. Vitamin A (retinol) is the gold standard in skincare for a reason! Bakuchiol is shown to have some anti-ageing effects, but, at least in this balm, I’ve not noticed any difference in terms of wrinkles or fine lines.
Had the balm been marketed as a skin-softening solution at around half the price, I’d be recommending this product. The texture is soft and silky, and it helps to nourish the skin. It plays well with other skincare products too and would be great for people with drier skins looking for a hydration surge underneath a moisturiser.
Rating: 3.5 stars
This is a nice hydrating balm, but I’m not totally sold on bakuchiol yet!
Overall Delizioso review
Overall, I think Delizioso Skincare is a nice brand.
I absolutely love its ethics – vegan, cruelty-free, and eco-conscious are all great attributes – and the actual aesthetics are gorgeous. The bright and colourful textures are so pretty #forthegram. Even though I enjoy synthetic ingredients too, I do like the concept of natural-led formulae, and it helps bring a theme to skincare brands.
The story of 2 sisters creating a skincare brand is also lovely. I love my sister to bits, so I can totally relate to how fun it must be starting a brand with your sister!
None of the products I tried blew me away. I particularly wasn’t a huge fan of the honey mask, but the eye gel and bakuchiol balm are both decent at hydrating and soothing the skin. I will continue using all of the products.
Fave product?
The Deliozoso Skincare Watermelon Anti-Aging CoQ10 + Coffee Brightening Eye Gel.
Are you into natural-led skincare brands? Let me know in the comments!
I love you too, sister! I really enjoy the concept of this brand, although I personally don’t prioritise natural-led products. I love the packaging design and that they plant trees for products sold!
