In this post, I’m going to talk about what I believe to be the best lip balm ever – the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm.

I can’t see myself ever not purchasing this lip balm, and the raft of excellent reviews on the internet tells me that other people feel the same way too.

Everyone needs a decent lip balm in their life. Especially during the colder months as our lips can get particularly dry then. So, I think finding a lip balm that works for you is really important.

If you haven’t tried any products from Nuxe before, then I hope this blog post convinces you otherwise, as its honey lip balm is 10/10.

The claims

Designed for ultra-dry and damaged lips, the ultra-nourishing Rêve de Miel Lip Balm is supposed to nourish, soothe and repair lips overnight.

It contains honey, botanical oils and propolis – a rare and precious bee hive ingredient – to leave your lips moisturised and soft by the morning.

Nuxe adds that the texture of the lip balm ‘melts’ and that it has a subtle grapefruit scent for an invigorating zesty note.

First impressions

In one word: Exceptional.

The texture of the lip balm was velvety, soft and thick, and on application, it was equally as smooth, moisturising and soothing. For all of the qualities packed into the Nuxe Rêve de Miel Lip Balm, it feels like a luxurious lip balm.

I just couldn’t believe how soft my lips were in the morning. Any dryness or soreness seemed to disappear.

I often suffer from quite dry and chapped lips. Be it from exposure to wind, the cold winter, air-con or central heating, I have to take care of my lips as they quite easily become dry or sore.

However, the Nuxe honey lip balm deals with this problem perfectly. Overnight. It doesn’t take a few days for you to notice the difference with this product, you’ll see brilliant results when you wake up.

I love that the lip balm is super nourishing, but it also feels like my lips are protected when I wear it. The thickness of the balm seems to really lock in moisture.

The Rêve de Miel Lip Balm also lasts for ages. You need the tiniest amount for it to coat your lips in a luscious velvet texture.

It 10000% meets all of its claims and more. I’d quite happily pay triple the price for this lip balm.
