The SUMMER FRIDAYS Dream Lip Oil is one of the creamiest formulas available. It instantly moisturises lips and has a cloud-like consistency that smooths effortlessly over them. The lip oil is non-sticky.

The large applicator means you can coat your lips in just 2 swipes. There are 4 shades available that offer a light tint. It’s not super glossy compared to other oils on this list, but it still offers some shine, which makes it perfect for everyday wear. As this formula is creamy, it’s not the most long-wearing. Plus, it’s one of the most expensive lip oils in this post. However, it’s one of the most comfortable lip oils you’ll try.

The lip oil adds a clear glossy sheen to the lips – there are no colour options. It’s not as weightless as some of the other formulas, but it’s not sticky and is long-wearing. This typically stays on the lips for around 4-5 hours before needing to reapply.

The texture is oily without being greasy. Plus, it wears pretty well for a lip oil – it typically lasts around 3-4 hours before you need to reapply. This is a product to go for when you want your lips to feel hydrated with a touch of gloss and colour while levelling up from a plain lip balm. There are 5 tints to choose from.

4. e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil

The e.l.f. Glow Reviver Lip Oil is one of the best drugstore lip oils available. It’s lightweight, offers a high-shine finish, isn’t sticky, and feels nourishing. The e.l.f. lip oil also feels quite refreshing thanks to a fresh, minty scent. If you’re not a fan of minty lip products, this is one to avoid!

It comes in 7 different tints, which vary in pigmentation levels from transparent and soft pink to a deeper berry and warm honey brown. All of the tints are pretty light. The large applicator means just 2 swipes will cover lips in a breeze.

5. Vieve Lip Dew

The Vieve Lip Dew is perfect for light makeup days. While this lip oil isn’t as moisturising as others in this list, it delivers reflective high-shine. It makes lips look plump, juicy, and glossy. This one’s not sticky whatsoever and has a glorious smoothing effect.

There are 6 pretty shades available. Unlike many other lip oils, the Original shade offers a warm beige/brown base with scattered golden glitter particles for a wearable and soft sparkly lip.

6. Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil

This lovely lip oil delivers a high-shine finish, feels cooling on the lips, and nourishes and softens the lips. It’s comfortable, non-sticky, and improves the condition of lips. But, if you don’t like minty lip care products, this is another one to steer clear of!

It comes in an impressive 11 shades, ranging from lilac and cherry to bronzed and berry. While the shades vary in pigmentation, each colour delivers a subtle tint to the lips, but you can still tell the difference between each shade. It’s pricey but so worth it.

7. Clinique Pop Lip + Cheek Oil in Black Honey

It’s one of the most hydrating lip oils on the market, offering intense moisture for a good 4-5 hours. This is one of the glossiest lip oils in this post and is more of a makeup product than it is skincare. It’s more lightweight than a lip gloss but delivers gorgeous shine and, in some of the shades, shimmer.

Plus, it has the most extensive shade range in this post, offering 14 diverse tints. Each shade offers sheer pigmentation, but you can still tell the difference between each tint. While this lip oil wears off in a few hours, the affordable price point means you can top up liberally without worrying that you’re wasting product!

Whether you’re after a light sparkly pink champagne or soft creamy beige, which offer a sheer tint, or a vibrant magenta or hot red, which offer medium pigmentation, this lip oil can suit natural makeup looks or be paired with bolder makeup looks. It’s incredibly flattering, as it doesn’t sink into fine lines and makes lips look super smooth.
