If you’re looking for some new skincare products that genuinely reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, then this review of the Maryann Collagen Cream and Multivitamin Eye Cream is for you.

Collagen production in the skin begins to slow down at around the age of 25. So, with anti-ageing skincare, a lot of it is about prevention rather than ‘cure’ and slowly introducing products to help keep your skin looking young, firm, and smooth.

In this review, I’m going to share my honest thoughts on these collagen skincare products from Maryann, along with a look at the product claims, INCI lists, and overall brand experience.

Review

I’m enjoying using the Maryann Collagen Cream. The cream is absorbent, lightweight and very easy to apply. There’s no stickiness and it doesn’t pill, which means it plays nicely with other skincare products. It’s also easy to layer, so people needing a bit more nourishment can apply more cream as desired.

The cream is moisturising, without feeling heavy. I’ve never had spots after applying this cream, which has happened to me previously with moisturisers that are too rich for my normal/oily skin. I actually think this would be a great cream for people with combination skin, as it marries together hydration and a lightweight texture perfectly.

But now for the real question: Does the Maryann Collagen Cream reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles?

Yes, it does!

I don’t have many fine lines, but since using this cream, I’ve noticed a reduction in their appearance. I think people looking for an anti-ageing skincare routine would benefit from incorporating this moisturiser for a multi-faceted approach.

This cream has made my skin feel a bit firmer and look a little more youthful, but I imagine people with more mature skin would notice a greater difference.

I’m not sold that this moisturiser makes my skin look more radiant, but that’s not why I’d buy a moisturiser anyway. It serves its main purposes: reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, making my skin feel firmer, and keeping my skin hydrated.

Alongside the benefits of being an anti-ageing eye cream, Maryann says that this product is suitable for all skin types, will give your eyes a luminous look, and keep the under-eye area moisturised. Additional benefits, according to Maryann, include improving uneven skin tone, tightening the skin around the eyes, smoothing any texture, and removing dark circles.

Review

Eye creams are the category of skincare product that tends to disappoint me the most. Although I’ve tried a handful of excellent ones, a lot seem to be gimmicky and don’t do anything.

But I actually enjoy using the Maryann Multivitamin Eye Cream; this eye cream has noticeable benefits. It’s non-greasy and lightweight, and it feels great on application. I find it hydrating, and it’s made my skin softer and smoother.

This multipurpose eye cream also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines. However, the improvement is not as significant compared to the Collagen Cream. Having said that, a lot of eye creams are lacklustre, in my opinion, so I think this is a good anti-ageing eye cream.

I’ve not found that the Multivitamin Eye Cream helps reduce puffiness or dark circles, though. I wouldn’t say that this eye cream has a brightening effect or improves skin tone either.

This eye cream is fab for people looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and for long-lasting hydration. I could see it working for a lot of skin types because it’s not heavy but is still moisturising.

This is an effective anti-ageing eye cream with noticeable benefits.

Overall review of Maryann skincare products

I’m happy to say that both Maryann products are effective anti-ageing solutions. They help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while delivering long-lasting hydration in lightweight, non-heavy and absorbent formulae.

At around $18 each, I think these products are reasonably priced. They’re not drugstore prices, but they’re not high-end either. The Multivitamin Eye Cream is better value for money, as while both the eye cream and moisturiser contain the same amount of product, you use less eye cream per use, so this would last longer. The eye cream is also slightly cheaper.

I’d be happy to purchase the Collagen Cream and Multivitamin Eye Cream with my own money.
