Perricone MD is a luxurious beauty brand that is best known for its high-end clinically proven skincare formulas. The brand does one of the best hyaluronic acid serums I’ve ever tried and continues to impress me. They’re products that work.

But how does Perricone MD’s makeup line compare to its effective skincare products? The Perricone MD No Makeup range claims to be a unique collection that infuses makeup with skincare ingredients for a natural no-makeup finish. The products are designed to melt in with your skin for a subtle, healthy finish.

In this review, I share my honest thoughts on the Perricone MD No Makeup line along with 2 makeup looks so you know whether to add these products to your basket right away.

I’m reviewing the following 5 Perricone MD No Makeup products:

  1. No Makeup Bronzer
  2. No Makeup Blush
  3. No Makeup Highlighter
  4. No Makeup Eyeshadow
  5. No Makeup Mascara

I share my honest thoughts, swatches, and ratings for each product below before moving on to my overall review of Perricone MD makeup, including 2 looks using all 5 products.

1. Perricone MD No Makeup Bronzer

£33 for 10ml

The way you use the Perricone MD No Makeup Bronzer is by putting 1-2 drops between your fingertips, rubbing your fingertips together, and then patting the bronzer gently across areas of your face where you want a soft bronzed look.

I love the texture. It’s soft and velvety. It’s thicker than a typical liquid – it doesn’t run or drip at all. Despite being quite thick, it’s very lightweight and blends effortlessly, with no patchiness.

This bronzer delivers a satin second-skin finish. It melts in seamlessly with my complexion. I thought the bronzer would be too deep and too orange for my complexion in the swatch. Once blended, it gives my skin a natural sunkissed boost that doesn’t look like a terrible fake tan.

It can be quite difficult to get a precise application with the bronzer, though. It spreads almost too easily at times. However, I know that I can master more precision with more practice. Ultimately, though, this is a natural bronzer rather than one for sculpting the face.

The bronzer is long-lasting too. After 8 hours of wear, it didn’t fade, become oily, or look patchy. It looked like I’d just applied it. Perfect for everyday wear.

There’s only 1 shade. It would work for fair-light complexions. But it’s unlikely to show up on medium-deeper complexions, which is a miss. Perricone MD needs to expand the bronzer shade range to be more inclusive.

Rating: 4.5 stars

I love this bronzer and can see it becoming a daily go-to for when I need a quick, everyday look. More shades are needed, though!

2. Perricone MD No Makeup Blush

£33 for 10ml

Application of the Perricone MD No Makeup Blush is just like the bronzer. Instead of a dropper, the blush has a doe foot applicator. You simply put 1-2 drops directly on your face or between your fingertips, and pat the product gently in the desired areas.

The blush has a similar consistency to the bronzer – it’s soft, not runny, and velvety – but it’s not as thick. Again, it applies beautifully, with an effortless blend and no patchiness. I found it easy to build and layer the product, without it disturbing my base makeup or looking cakey.

I love the shade too. It’s a warm peachy pink that would work with a lot of makeup looks because it gives a natural flush of colour. However, the blush isn’t as pigmented as the bronzer. I needed 2 dots of the blush for it to be visible. You can easily blend this colour out into nothingness too so don’t overblend.

I think this shade would work on most skin tones. But more shades are necessary, as I doubt this subtle blush would show up on a deeper complexion. More inclusivity is needed!

The blush also has a satin skin-like finish. I personally prefer radiant blushes, but the Perricone MD formula is super wearable and feels comfortable. The blush doesn’t last as long as the bronzer, as it faded considerably after 8 hours, but it didn’t become greasy or patchy.

Rating: 4 stars

I like how easy this blush is to apply and wear. It’s very foolproof and perfect for day-to-day wear.

3. Perricone MD No Makeup Highlighter

£33 for 10ml

The Perricone MD No Makeup Highlighter applies just like the blush. It’s a bit thinner than the blush and doesn’t have a velvety texture. Instead, it has a silky, spreadable consistency. It’s similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in terms of texture.

I love the shade. It’s a perfect neutral champagne that would work with any makeup look. The base isn’t too silver or too gold, offering the perfect middle ground to elevate any makeup look. It has a transparent base with a subtle dewy glow once blended. It’s natural and gives “lit from within” vibes.

However, the highlighter is so subtle that it’s pretty much undetectable without layering. You need to do at least 2 dots per cheek for it to show up with the doe foot applicator. But it builds beautifully, with no pilling, stickiness, or cakeyness. So you can easily dial up the intensity by adding more highlighter.

I think this highlighter would work for pretty much every skin tone. As the base is sheer, there are no concerns with the colour of the highlighter not working for your complexion. Instead, you’ll get a pearly non-glittery glow that’s flattering and natural.

The highlighter doesn’t have as much lasting power as the bronzer. After 8 hours, it pretty much disappears. But, the formula is so lightweight and foolproof to apply that you could easily top up the highlighter throughout the day without it disturbing your makeup.

Rating: 4 stars

I like this highlighter for an everyday simple glow.

4. Perricone MD No Makeup Eyeshadow

£33 for 10ml

Again, the Perricone MD No Makeup Eyeshadow has the same doe foot applicator as the blush and highlighter. You simply place 1-2 dots on your eyelids and tap the product in with your fingers to blend.

There are 4 shades available. I’ve got shade 3, which is a cool brown with grey undertones. It’s quite light. Cool shades can wash me out, but this is fairly neutral, so it works well with my complexion. It’s a shade that would work with most makeup looks, particularly nude makeup looks. I love it.

It has a light, soft, and velvety texture. Like the blush, it’s not runny and is very spreadable. It dries down to a soft matte finish with medium pigmentation. This makes it so wearable, as it provides a soft wash of colour that’s sophisticated and ideal for daily wear. I love how convenient this is to apply.

This liquid eyeshadow wears incredibly well. After 8 hours, it didn’t fade or become greasy. It looked like I’d just applied it. I was so impressed! Normally, eyeshadows break down on my eyelids as the day goes on. But the Perricone MD one didn’t at all.

Rating: 5 stars

I love the eyeshadow. It’s super long-wearing and easy to use.

5. Perricone MD No Makeup Mascara

£30 for 8g

The Perricone MD No Makeup Mascara is fantastic. This lifts, lengthens, and volumises lashes with ease. No dryness. No flaking. No clumpyness. And no smudging.

I love this mascara because it separates lashes effortlessly. It doesn’t matter how many coats you apply, the formula won’t clump.

The mascara is also comfortable. Some formulas can be dry or irritating, but this one feels lightly nourishing. It’s not too wet either, where it leads to immediate smudging and transfer. Instead, it stays put all day. After 8 hours of wear, this didn’t budge once.

This is more of an everyday mascara. It’s not super black or volumising, so it’s not going to deliver a bold, dramatic lash. But it defines lashes easily, making the mascara very wearable.

Rating: 5 stars

I genuinely love this mascara. It’s reliable and does the job perfectly.

Perricone MD No Makeup look

To show you how the products perform and look, I did a couple of makeup looks using the Perricone MD No Makeup range. Both are simple day-to-day looks.

Look 1

I really like how this makeup look turned out. It’s a simple soft matte vibe with a bolder lip. This only took around 20 minutes. The formulas are very easy to work with and beginner-friendly.

Look 2

I’m also pleased with how this look turned out. I paired this look with the Perricone MD No Makeup Primer, which I’ve reviewed (and like) before.

To see how the eyeshadow would perform with another eyeshadow formula on top, I added a glossy shimmer from the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Eyeshadow Palette. It layered on top beautifully, with no pilling, tackiness, or disturbing of the eyeshadow. I think the glossy shimmer took the eyeshadow to the next level.

Is the Perricone MD No Makeup line worth it? Honest review

Perricone MD No Makeup image

I think the Perricone MD No Makeup line is fantastic, and I highly recommend it. It’s perfect for simple no-makeup makeup looks. I love how foolproof, beginner-friendly, and convenient the products are to use. They’re impossible to overdo or mess up. And they work so well together with seamless blendability.

The bronzer and blush shade range needs to expand to be more inclusive. I’d also love more eyeshadow shades to choose from. But other than that, I’m very impressed with the range. I particularly love the eyeshadow and mascara.
