What is ESPA Skincare?

Celebrating its 30-year anniversary in 2022, ESPA Skincare is a luxurious skincare, home, body care, and wellness brand. The brand is used in many spas globally due to its effective formulae and driven aromatherapy approach. Review

I really enjoy the ESPA Skincare Optimal Skin Nutrient Mist. It’s one of the more nourishing and glowy mists that I’ve tried.

Spritzing this onto the skin, I can tell that it’s packed with loads of moisturising ingredients. With ingredients like avocado oil, glycerin, jojoba seed oil, and propanediol, this gives my skin a hydration boost either as a morning toner or to refresh throughout the day. I love that it gives my skin instant radiance for a quick pick-me-up.

I haven’t noticed that this mist helps with the appearance of my pores. But it’s particularly great at refreshing my skin throughout the day, especially if it’s been windy outside or I’ve been around central heating.

I’ve not used the ESPA Skincare Optimal Skin Nutrient Mist as a setting spray yet, but this certainly helps with makeup application. Because the spray adds moisture to the skin, it results in a smoother complexion base, as products don’t cling to any dry patches.

I love the uplifting aromatic scent too. This has a distinctly botanical fragrance from a concoction of oils. I really enjoy this, and it reminds me of going on a spa day!

Rating: 4 stars

I’m loving using the ESPA Skincare Optimal Skin Nutrient Mist. I wish the mister itself gave a finer spray, though. This would provide more even distribution of product.

2. ESPA Skincare Pomelo Lip Balm

Review

I really like the ESPA Skincare Pomelo Lip Balm. It’s one of the best lip balms I’ve used!

My lips are really fussy. I’ve tried plenty of lip balms in my time that have a stack of 5-star ratings but genuinely do nothing for my lips. So when I say a formula is good, it’s the real tea!

This ESPA Skincare Pomelo Lip Balm is lovely. It’s hydrating and soothing with a silky-smooth texture. It’s got a waxy texture – in a good way!

Although the ESPA Skincare Pomelo Lip Balm is not the most nourishing lip balm I own, it’s the most protective one I’ve tried. If my lips are sore or chapped, this is the lip balm I’d choose, as it has fantastic restorative properties and acts as a barrier to any potential skin aggravators.

Again, this lip balm has a lovely botanical scent, which I enjoy. It also gives my lips a subtle shine for a healthy-looking finish.

Rating: 4.5 stars

I’m loving this protective lip balm!

Review

Out of all the sumptuous skincare products in this ESPA Skincare review, the ESPA Skincare Optimal Skin Pro-Serum is my number 1.

This is everything I want packed into one nutrient-rich serum. It’s super hydrating, moisturising, lightweight, and absorbent, has a luxe serum-oil hybrid texture, smells incredible, and gives my skin the most incredible glow. Honestly, if I want my skin to look and feel its best, I reach for the Optimal Skin Pro-Serum.

The serum truly feels like it revitalises my complexion. It instantly looks brighter and healthier while feeling soft and protected. I’m getting serious spa vibes. In fact, I’m pretty sure an aesthetician has used this serum on my skin before!

This serum meets all of its claims. Easily. Plus, that addictive botanical scent is present to really elevate the whole aromatherapy experience. Hello relaxation!

I’m addicted to this serum.

Overall ESPA Skincare review

ESPA Skincare products image

I truly love every skincare product in this ESPA Skincare review. Although this is my first time trying the high-end skincare brand, it’s left a long-lasting impression.

The packaging of each product is easy to use and identifiable. I love the yellow across each product, as not many skincare products are yellow! It’s something a bit different. None of the packaging is clunky, but I wish the spritzer on the Optimal Skin Nutrient Mist was a bit finer so that the product disperses more easily.

ESPA Skincare truly delivers aromatic spa vibes. Each product has an amazing scent, makes my skin look and feel incredible, and gives me an uplifting experience. I can see why this brand has a major presence in spas throughout the world.

And ultimately, I think these products are worth the price. Yes, they’re on the expensive side, but I don’t think these sorts of experiences, particularly with the serum, can be found in drugstore brands. And, they’ve been great for my skin!

I’d definitely love to pick up some more ESPA Skincare in the future, as the ones in this review are fantastic!

Fave product?

The ESPA Skincare Optimal Skin Pro-Serum is unreal!
