Today, I will review the brand-new Maysama Green Rooibos Probiotic Moisturiser and Green Rooibos AOX Hydrating Atomiser.
Maysama is a fantastic UK-based skincare brand that revolves around the hero ingredient green rooibos. Green rooibos is a potent antioxidant that helps soothe the skin and assists the skin in protecting itself from pro-ageing damage
The brand is vegan and cruelty-free, as approved by the Vegan Society and the Leaping Bunny programme. Maysama also strongly emphasises sustainability, with the packaging being predominantly glass, which is infinitely recyclable, with recyclable/recycled plastic lids.
I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing Maysama’s toner, mask, and serum in the past. All 3 products are very effective, so I couldn’t wait to try the brand’s latest skincare products. Keep reading for my honest thoughts on the moisturiser and face spray, their textures, and whether they’re worth adding to your basket.

1. Maysama Green Rooibos Probiotic Moisturiser
£42 for 50ml
The Maysama Green Rooibos Probiotic Moisturiser claims to be a lightweight, probiotic moisturiser that’s hydrating and suitable for all skin types.
It’s enriched with the emollient (softens or soothes skin) jojoba seed oil; the humectant (retains or preserves moisture) pentylene glycol; skin-conditioning black tea ferment; the antioxidant green rooibos; fermented colloidal oatmeal which offers pre-biotic, probiotic, and postbiotic properties; and more.
I really like this moisturiser. It’s lightweight, creamy, absorbent, and plays nicely with other skincare products. There’s no pilling, and it doesn’t feel oily on my skin at all.
As it’s free from perfume and essential oils, this is great for sensitive skin. It didn’t aggravate my rosacea, and I found it very soothing and nourishing. It makes my skin feel healthy, plump, and protected, with some subtle radiance.
Rating: 4.5 stars
I’ve only rated this 4.5 stars, as I’ve used more affordable moisturisers that deliver similar results. And £42 is on the pricey side. However, it’s a lovely and effective moisturiser.
2. Maysama Green Rooibos AOX Hydrating Atomiser
£48 for 120ml
The Maysama Green Rooibos AOX Hydrating Atomiser is supposed to be a multi-purpose hydrating spray that can be used as a toner, before LED light therapy treatments, or as a top-up mist to refresh skin throughout the day.
It’s formulated with hydrating glycerin and sodium PCA; pure vitamin C, AKA ascorbic acid that helps make skin radiant and reduces hyperpigmentation; the antioxidant green rooibos; and more.
This is a fantastic face mist. It instantly quenches the skin with a veil of hydration, which is super refreshing. I typically use this as a toner, after I’ve cleansed my skin but before applying serums and moisturiser etc. It works so well, as it revitalises my skin and preps it for other skincare products.
Again, as there’s no fragrance or essential oils, it’s ideal for sensitive skin. The spray feels soothing on my oily and sensitive skin. As the weather gets hotter, I’ll definitely be reaching for this spray to cool down my skin!
Rating: 4.5 stars
This is quite expensive, so I’m giving it 4.5 stars, as it’s a bit of an investment. But I think this is a very high-quality product.
Are these new Maysama products worth it? Overall review
Unsurprisingly, I’m very impressed with both of Maysama’s new products. They have fantastic INCI lists, are very effective, and make my skin feel hydrated and soothed. While they’re on the expensive side, they’re absolutely worth it!

4.5 across the whole range is fantastic! I love the sound of all these as I tend to go for products that are hydrating and soothing. I especially like the sound of the mist.
