The Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser is a popular Korean skincare product that’s designed to soothe, intensely nourish, and refresh the skin. This milky toner is highly rated and has previously gone viral on TikTok and Instagram.

After trying and loving the Rhode Glazing Milk, I became curious about milky toners. I’m a massive toner fan anyway, and I loved the idea of a creamy yet fluid consistency that was both lightweight and ultra-hydrating. I’d seen a lot of positive reviews of the Laneige Cream Skin Toner and knew I had to try it.

In this review, I share my honest thoughts on the Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser and whether it’s worth the hype.

About the Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser

The Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser is a cream-toner hybrid that’s enriched with nourishing ceramides and peptides for radiant, hydrated glass skin.

This innovative formula combines the benefits of a rich cream with the lightweight texture of a liquid toner to deliver soothing and nourishing hydration. It’s designed for all skin types but is particularly beneficial for sensitive, dry, and normal skin.

Key ingredients include:

  • Squalane, hyaluronic acid, snow mushroom, and glycerin hydrate the skin.
  • Meadowfoam seed oil, which softens the skin.
  • Camellia japonica flower extract and camellia sinensis leaf extract soothe the skin and have impressive antioxidant properties.
  • Acetyl Tetrapeptide-11 helps the skin become healthier.
  • Ceramide NP helps improve the look and feel of dry or dehydrated skin thanks to its water-retention properties and reinforces skin’s barrier strength to better resist external stressors.
  • Propanediol makes skin look smooth and glowy.

Laneige is not cruelty-free or vegan.

How to use the Laneige Cream Skin toner

After cleansing, gently pat the toner into the skin. A few shakes of the bottle into the palm of your hand is ample. This can be used every day in the morning and the evening. You can apply this toner in multiple layers for additional hydration.

Honest Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser review

I’ve been using the Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser consistently every morning for around 2 weeks. I’ve got combination skin with mild rosacea but am typically not sensitive to products.

The hype is absolutely deserved! This milky toner is fantastic.

The packaging is nothing special. The toner comes in a plastic bottle that feels quite weighty. I love that the top is not a pump dispenser. You simply shake the bottle upside down for the product to come out. I find this less wasteful, as I can control how much product comes out.

What I particularly love is the consistency. This has a gorgeous creamy yet fluid texture. It’s clear to see why it’s described as a milky toner. Despite looking gloopy, it’s not sticky or greasy whatsoever. Instead, it’s lightweight, absorbent, and smooths over skin effortlessly.

This toner feels wonderful on the skin too. It’s instantly nourishing, hydrating, and soothing. It feels like a quenching drink for the skin. Importantly, I experienced no irritation or sensitivity. It’s very gentle and didn’t trigger my rosacea.

Since using this, my skin feels more moisturised, soothed, and soft. It gives my skin a gorgeous healthy glow too. Instead of making my skin feel oily, it feels balanced and healthy.

This toner is also ideal for skin prep before makeup. It gives makeup an even, dewy, and smooth canvas to work with. Applying this before makeup means that any other products won’t cling to dry patches or emphasise skin texture.

Out of the many hydrating toners I’ve tried over the years, this one stands out as an ultra-nourishing glass skin must-have. This truly deserves its holy grail status.

Rating: 5 stars

I’d highly recommend this toner for anyone who’s looking for moisturised, soothed, and radiant skin. This is healthy skin in a bottle.
