Wild’s original Natural Deodorant is the best deodorant I’ve ever used. Despite being a natural-led formula, it outperforms every other antiperspirant and deodorant I’ve tried, while still being eco-friendly.

So how does Wild’s Roll on Antiperspirant compare? In this honest review, I share my experience of using the natural antiperspirant, including how to use it and whether it truly prevents odour and sweat, while keeping your armpits fresh.

About the Wild Roll On Antiperspirant

The Wild Roll On Antiperspirant is a refillable, vegan, and cruelty-free deodorant that’s designed to deliver 72 hours of protection from odour and sweat. It contains 90% natural ingredients and 10% antiperspirant actives. The deodorant promises to be suitable for sensitive skin. Wild also says this antiperspirant will leave no white marks and is fast-drying. It’s a water-based, smooth formula with no stickiness.

The refills are fully biodegradable, and the cases are free from plastic.

There are multiple case designs available, such as love hearts for Valentine’s Day, bumble bees, plain aqua (I have this one), and multichrome. You can pick from various scents for the refills, like coconut and vanilla, amber and oud, fresh cotton and sea salt, and cherry blossom. There are also antiperspirant and deodorant refills available for the Roll On formula, depending on your preference.

Prices for a case and refill start at £13.19. Prices for refills start at £5.20 each.

How to use the antiperspirant

Roll the antiperspirant directly onto clean, dry armpits. A couple of smooth swipes on each armpit is enough to prevent odour and sweat. It may take a couple of swipes on the first use to get the formula flowing through the rollerball.

How to refill the antiperspirant

Refilling the antiperspirant is straightforward. Follow the simple steps below:

1. Disassemble the case: Hold the top and bottom sections of the case and gently pull them apart. Unscrew the empty refill from the lid.
2. Dispose of the empty refill: Pop the used refill bottle into your home garden composter (if you have one) or your regular household waste bin.
3. Attach the new refill: Give your new refill a good shake, then remove and recycle the aluminium cap. Screw the new refill into the lid (the top part of the case).
4. Reassemble the case: Slot the lid, with the refill attached, back into the base.
5. Push the two sections together firmly until they click into place.
6. Twist the lid anti-clockwise to unscrew and reveal the rollerball.

Honest Wild Roll On Antiperspirant review

The Wild Roll On Antiperspirant is even better than the Wild Natural Deodorant! I’m thoroughly impressed with it.

Firstly, I love the convenience of a roll-on antiperspirant. While the original balm formula from Wild smooths over skin easily, it can get a bit messy. Also, the original Natural Deodorant can leave white marks if you’re not careful (nothing crazy, though). In contrast, the Roll On Antiperspirant leaves no white marks and feels just as smooth on the skin.

Using the roll-on formula also feels cooling and refreshing. It glides under my armpits easily without any tugging or stickiness. I’ve used some roll-on antiperspirants that stay quite wet, which ends up becoming sweaty and uncomfortable, and frankly isn’t pleasant. Wild’s formula dries down in under a minute to keep me feeling clean and fresh.

I’ve got the Fresh Cotton & Sea Salt scent, which has a subtle, fresh, and clean smell. It’s not irritating or overpowering either. The scent disappears within a few hours.

Of course, the fact that this antiperspirant is eco-friendly is a massive bonus. The refills are easy to slot in and out. It means you can play around with different scents without throwing away packaging unnecessarily.

Most importantly, the Wild Roll On Antiperspirant keeps me sweat- and odour-free all day. I apply the antiperspirant every single day (so I’ve not tested the 72-hour claim as I’d feel weird not putting on deodorant each morning), and it meets all of its promises.

The Valentino Born In Roma Donna Extradose Parfum (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is a gorgeous perfume. With notes of vanilla, jasmine, cassis accord, and rhum accord, this perfume is sweet, slightly floral, and romantic. It’s elegant and is the type of perfume you can wear for any occasion, as it’s not overpowering. This perfume lasts all day without fading. I’m obsessed.

The Victoria Beckham Beauty Lid Lustre is one of my favourite shimmery single eyeshadows. They’re creamy, insanely pigmented, easy to blend, and come in a beautiful range of shades. You can pack on intense colour to your eyelids by using your fingertips, or use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to diffuse the colour for a softer shimmery look. From golden olive and warm rose gold to navy blue and silver chrome, the shades look expensive. These are perfect ‘one and done’ shadows that deliver incredible results every time. I frequently reach for them.

The Redken Volume Injection Shampoo (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is one of the best shampoos for adding volume and lift to my hair. This shampoo makes my hair look fuller and thicker, while preventing my scalp from getting oily as quickly. A little bit of product goes a long way.

The Redken Volume Injection Conditioner (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is an excellent conditioner for adding volume to my scalp without weighing my hair down or making it greasy. This conditioner ensures my hair stays moisturised and healthy, all while giving it extra body.

The Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide Toner and Moisturiser (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is my fave milky toner. It adds moisture, hydration, and dewiness to my skin instantly, without making my skin oily. This toner instantly refreshes my skin; it’s a cheat code to healthy skin in a bottle and absolutely worth the hype.

The Sculpted by Aimee LashLift has quickly become one of my fave mascaras. It adds effortless length and lift to my lashes without looking clumpy or flaking. It’s pretty smudge-proof, too. I love that the formula is lightweight, separates lashes, and delivers length with just 1 coat. I’ve got this mascara in Ultra-Black and Rich Brown, and both shades are stunning.

The Wavytalk Blowout Boost (25% off with Sarah25) is my first foray into thermal brushes, and I wish I’d tried it sooner. This heated brush allows you to easily get a ’90s blowout hairstyle, add volume to your hair, or get smooth waves. It heats up quickly and allows you to get salon-worthy results at home. Obsessed.

The Rhode Pocket Blush is a beautiful and versatile formula. Whether you apply the blush directly to your cheeks and lips, use a brush, or use your fingertips, it will blend easily and never look overdone. I find this blush works best when warmed on the back of my hand, and then using a brush to pick up the product from my hand and diffuse across my cheeks. This blush has a soft matte, skin-like finish that gives skin a natural flush of colour. The shade range is gorgeous. Sleepy Girl (a soft mauve) and Toasted Teddy (a bronze terracotta) are my go-to shades.

The Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is fantastic. This cleanser makes my skin feel clean, fresh, hydrated, and smooth after use. As the exfoliation comes in a cleanser form, this is more tolerable for sensitive skin, as the formula is washed off your skin, which makes it great for those looking to introduce an exfoliator into their skincare routine without damaging their skin’s barrier. This cleanser foams easily, so a little bit of product goes a long way. My complexion looks brighter and more even after using this cleanser.

The Lancôme Rénergie H.C.F Triple Serum is an expensive and innovative serum that’s worth the money. It contains skin-loving ingredients like ferulic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid to smooth, brighten, and moisturise the skin. It’s also designed to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Since using this serum, my skin looks more radiant and feels firmer.

The Lancôme Rénergie H.P.N. UVMUNE SPF50 Cream is one of my fave moisturisers in recent years. It’s rich, luxurious, and thick. Yet, despite being ultra-nourishing, it never feels heavy or greasy. Instead, it melts into the skin easily and provides long-lasting hydration. Some moisturisers containing SPF feel like they never absorb into the skin and just sit on top in a heavy, clogging way. This one smooths into the skin like a breeze, thanks to the plumping peptide complex.

The ONE/SIZE On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray is perfect for locking makeup into place. If I’m wearing makeup for over 6 hours or want my base to stay perfectly in place, this setting spray is my go-to. It means my makeup won’t budge and will look fresh all day. I love how fine the mister is on this setting spray, as it ensures even distribution of the product across my face.

The Kiehl’s Ultra Body Mega Moisture Squalane Cream balances being lightweight and absorbent, alongside delivering long-lasting nourishment. After using this on my feet, which can get quite dry and cracked after swimming, this helps repair any soreness and soothe dryness for soft, supple skin.

The Jones Road Gel Liner is creamy, which means it doesn’t drag across the eyelids on application or feel drying. It glides on seamlessly and doesn’t budge once applied. The gel liner foolproof to use, as you can achieve smooth, precise lines, without it wobbling or smudging. I’ve got the shade Navy, which adds a subtle touch of colour to eye makeup for a sophisticated look.

The Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry | 48 (15% off at Sephora with SARAHSSPH) has quickly become one of my fave gourmand scents. This cherry fragrance has an elevated and complex fragrance profile, with notes like caramelised praline, patchouli, palo santo, and guaiac wood. On paper, I wouldn’t opt for this perfume, as I don’t tend to like woody fragrances, but this one smells balanced, sophisticated, and not overpowering. I love it.

The Skinfood Rice Brightening Pad (money off YesStyle with CONFIDENCE10) is a toner pad that’s worth investing in. These sumptuous toner pads make skin hydrated, look glowy, and feel refreshed. Rice pore complex helps restore elasticity and tighten the skin, PHA gently exfoliates the skin, and niacinamide helps brighten the complexion and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. After using these toner pads, my skin instantly looks and feels better.

The By Beauty Bay Desert Haze 20 Colour Palette is a colour story that instantly stood out to me, with fiery coppers and golds, royal blue, earthy khakis and browns, stunning rose golds, and soft beige sandy tones. Although this palette is cheap, the shadows feel expensive. The mattes are soft and buttery with minimal fallout, while the shimmers are fiercly pigmented and deliver a range of shimmer intensities to create a diverse range of looks. I reach for this palette quite regularly at the moment.

The MAC Lustreglass Lipstick in Alone Time is a unique cool-toned lipstick. I don’t always suit cool-toned lipsticks, as they can wash me out and appear greyish on my complexion, but Alone Time is wearable. It’s a pretty mauve brown that will work with just about any neutral or cool-toned makeup look. The formula is smoothing, flattering, sheer, and buildable. It makes lips look glossy and keeps them hydrated. 

The Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is another excellent milky toner. This formula is richer and more nourishing than the Laneige one in this best beauty products of 2025 list, which makes it ideal for drier skin or in colder weather. The toner is ultra-hydrating and seals in moisture all day. It also makes my skin look radiant, feel soft and smooth, and removes the need for a thick moisturiser.

The Haus Labs Color Fuse Longwear Glassy Lip + Cheek Stick is perfect for when I want a glossy cheek look. This gorgeous formula blends effortlessly. Whether I’m after a saturated pop of glassy colour or a more subtle flush of colour, this stick blush will work. It removes the need for a highlighter, as it provides a glowy non-shimmery finish, which is flattering and never clings to skin texture. The shade range is phenomenal, offering pretty lilacs, berries, nude browns, peaches, and soft pinks. This is one of my fave blushes of all time.

The TYMO CurlGo is a great styling tool for soft, bouncy curls or silky waves. Although I wish the curls lasted longer, I love the results: elegant, classy curls with minimal effort. The curler does all of the hard work for you, as the barrel auto-rotates your hair in the wand. Once you get the hang of using the device, the CurlGo truly is easy to use.

The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh Rice + B5 SPF50+ (20% off at LookFantastic with LFTFBLOGSARAH) is one of the best sunscreens I’ve ever tried. No white cast, no sticky feeling, and it absorbs instantly. It’s lightweight, hydrating, and refreshing. It layers over skincare products without pilling and sits underneath makeup without disturbing it. This SPF50 also has a cooling sensation on application, so it’s refreshing to use on a hot day. I’d repurchase this in an instant.

I’m always on the hunt for interesting beauty brands. From innovative independent skincare brands and female-founded brands to viral products and trendy new items, if something looks exciting to me, I’m willing to spend money on it.

I stumbled across LIHA Beauty online. This black-owned and female-founded brand harnesses the power of African beauty secrets to create an array of products that smell amazing, nourish the skin, and contain high-quality ingredients. The brand is cruelty-free and celebrates the founders’, Abi and Liha, Yoruba and British heritage.

The brand’s beautiful message really stood out to me. Plus, after LIHA Beauty appeared on Dragons’ Den, I knew I had to purchase a selection of products. Despite not securing an investment from the Dragons, I was intrigued, especially as the Dragons all noted how great the products are.

In this honest review, I share my thoughts on whether LIHA Beauty is worth it, with a closer look at the products’ ingredients, textures, and efficacy.

Below, I review each product individually before sharing my overall thoughts on this black-owned beauty brand.

1. Oju Omi Mud Cleanser

£34 for 50ml

The LIHA Beauty Oju Omi Mud Cleanser can be used as either a cleanser or a face mask. As a daily cleanser, it has a fun mud-to-milk formula that promises to deeply cleanse the skin, without stripping, irritating, or drying it out. As a mud mask, apply it to dry skin, leave it for 10-20 minutes, and then rinse it off. The result from either method is hydrated, balanced, clean, and smooth skin.

Key ingredients include:

• Agave syrup: nourishes skin
• Kaolin: a clay mineral with absorbent properties that help reduce excess oil on the skin
• Moroccan lava clay: exfoliates the skin but can be a bit abrasive
• Marula oil: moisturises skin
• Molasses: LIHA Beauty says molasses is hydrating, gently exfoliating, and calms redness

This mud cleanser has a thick, creamy, and slightly gritty texture. It feels rich and luxurious. It has an earthy scent, but it’s fragrance-free. I love the consistency and smell of this cleanser; it gives spa day vibes.

As a cleanser, I initially used this as a second cleanse. However, it’s rich, exfoliating, and leaves a slightly oily residue, so I think it performs better as the first cleanse in your evening skincare routine.

The mud-to-milk formula is satisfying, as it effortlessly rinses off once emulsified. This performs more like a physical exfoliator, as there are some small particles that scrub your skin. I find this a bit abrasive. While the cleanser doesn’t cause redness in my skin, it does leave it feeling a bit stripped. Although this leaves my skin feeling soft, clean, and smooth, I still prefer using a traditional cleanser formula, such as a gel, oil, or balm.

This product works better as an exfoliating mud mask. After using it, my skin feels less oily, smoother, and hydrated, while also appearing brighter. It feels as though it’s really working to unclog my pores, helps get rid of stubborn blackheads, and leaves my skin in great condition. However, dry skin might find the mask too drying, due to the clays.

Rating: 4 stars

While I’ve used other cleansers that I prefer, I think this is an excellent face mask, especially for oily skin.

2. Idan Oil

£42 for 100ml

The LIHA Beauty Idan Oil is designed to deeply nourish and soften skin, while giving it a gorgeous glow. This innovative oil starts off as a solid balm at room temperature, but it transforms into a liquid when warmed. You can warm the oil up by rinsing the bottle (with the cap on) in warm/hot water. This multi-purpose oil can be used on the skin and hair.

Key ingredients include:

• Coconut oil: moisturises skin
• Tuberose: offers a sensual, warm, and floral scent
• Cinnamal: imparts the gorgeous spicy and sweet aroma of cinnamon

When warmed up, this oil is quite runny, non-greasy, and feels lightweight. It absorbs quickly, within a couple of minutes. I’m obsessed with the scent of this oil. It’s sweet, slightly spiced, floral, and romantic. Every time I use it, I smell absolutely amazing. Although this oil is fragranced, so that’s something to be mindful of if you’re sensitive to perfumed products.

And the results are fantastic. I use this as a body oil to hydrate and soften skin. I apply the oil overnight, and by morning, my skin is soft, smooth, nourished. Any dryness on my skin, such as on my feet, is significantly improved. With consistent use, the Idan Oil easily gets rid of dead, rough, or dry skin.

I’ve not used this as a hair oil, as I’ve already got a greasy scalp, so this might be a bit too rich. However, for dry ends or scalps, I think this would be a fantastic hair oil to moisturise and smooth frizz.

I love this oil and look forward to using it.

3. Orinrin Cleansing Balm

£32 for 50ml

The LIHA Beauty Orinrin Cleansing Balm claims to effortlessly dissolve makeup, SPF, and daily grime, while delivering nourishment that lingers long after rinsing. The balm transforms into a milk when in contact with water, allowing you to easily wash it off after massaging the product into your skin.

Key ingredients:

• Sweet almond oil: softens skin and helps the skin retain moisture
• Mango seed butter: hydrates and soothes skin
• Cocoa seed butter: locks in hydration and calms sensitive skin
• Sunflower seed oil: replenishes and strengthens skin
• Rice bran oil: has barrier-repairing properties

This cleansing balm has a rich, thick, and creamy consistency. A grape-sized amount of product is enough to massage into dry skin and thoroughly cleanse it. The balm features fragrant components that give it a mildly sweet and citrusy aroma. Again, something to be mindful of if you’re sensitive to perfumed skincare.

I quite like this cleansing balm, but it’s not my favourite. It smells and feels luxurious, thanks to a gorgeous fragrance profile and sumptuous texture.

As a first cleanse in my evening skincare routine, it easily lifts any lingering dirt, SPF, or oil on the skin. The balm rinses off easily when emulsified with water. But I’ve used cleansing balms and oils that take less work and are more effective at dissolving makeup.

While this cleansing balm makes my skin soft, clean, and moisturised, it unfortunately leaves a slightly greasy and tacky residue. I need to pair this with a powerful cleansing gel or foam that removes this residue, as it could otherwise lead to breakouts on my skin. Ultimately, I prefer cleansing balms or oils that feel more compatible with my combination skin and are easier to use.

Rating: 4 stars

This cleansing balm is nice, but I think this would be better for people with dry skin.

4. Osé Gidi Black Soap

£16 for 120g

The LIHA Beauty Osé Gidi Black Soap is supposed to deeply cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin, without stripping it. The soap works into a creamy lather that leaves skin hydrated, soft, and luminous. It can be used on the face and body.

Key ingredients:

• Sodium shea butterate: cleanses the skin
• Sodium cocoate: cleanses the skin but can be drying
• Glycerin: hydrates skin
• Molasses extract: hydrates, gently exfoliates, and calms redness

This cleanser has a soft, smooth, and slightly grainy texture. It glides over skin effortlessly with no resistance. Multiple fragrant components, including bergamot, benzoin, and palmarosa, give the soap a calming and mildly citrusy aroma. Again, if you’re sensitive or dislike fragranced skincare, this might be one to avoid.

Personally, I wouldn’t use this as a facial cleanser, as the exfoliating particles would be a bit too abrasive for my skin.

As a body soap, though, this does an excellent job of cleansing my skin, while leaving it feeling nourished and removing dead, dry, or rough skin. It smooths over my skin easily and lathers effortlessly, without ever leaving my skin feeling stripped, tight, or dry. The combination of nourishment, gorgeous scent, and gentle exfoliation makes this soap feel expensive and high-quality.

Overall LIHA Beauty review

Overall, I think LIHA Beauty has some fantastic products that smell amazing, feature some interesting and innovative ingredients, and boast luxurious textures. These products are effective, meet their claims, and are excellent at moisturising, smoothing, and softening skin.

I love LIHA Beauty’s brand story, and the combination of the founders’ British and African heritage really comes through in their products. They’re packaged beautifully, foreground excellent Yoruba ingredients and Yoruba culture, and feel authentic.

I’m impressed with LIHA Beauty and would particularly recommend these products for people with dry skin.

1. Scottish Speedwell Ageless Night Cream

1. Napiers Scottish Speedwell Ageless Night Cream

About the product

The Napiers Scottish Speedwell Ageless Night Cream is described as a rich night cream with powerful anti-wrinkle properties and rich natural oils to rejuvenate the skin. The moisturiser claims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, soften the skin, and shed dead skin cells.

It’s enriched with Scottish Speedwell, which Napiers says is a unique plant extract that has been proven to visibly reduce wrinkles when used for 4 weeks. Other key ingredients nourishing shea butter, hydrating hyaluronic acid, the antioxidant Hedbridean seaweed extract, and exfoliating salicylic acid.

Review

I really like this nighttime moisturiser.

Firstly, this has a strong botanical scent. It contains 2 fragrant plant oils – orange peel oil and jasmine essential oil – for a distinctive herbal fragrance. Natural fragrances can still be sensitising, so just be mindful if you’ve got sensitive skin or find fragrance irritating in skincare formulas. I have no issues with fragranced skincare. I don’t mind the scent of this night cream, but it’s very strong. However, once massaged into the skin, the scent disappears.

I love the consistency of this night cream. It’s thick, rich, and sumptuous. This makes it feel luxurious and expensive. Because of this, the moisturiser isn’t particularly absorbent. It takes a fair bit of massaging to get the cream to melt into the skin. Without a bit of work, the cream will just sit on your skin.

Once massaged into the skin, the cream doesn’t feel greasy, which is perfect for my combination skin. This makes your skin feel instantly firmer and tight – in a good way. By the morning, my skin feels softer, smoother, and rejuvenated.

As it contains salicylic acid along with loads of nourishing plant oils, the exfoliating element of this moisturiser is gentle. It contributes to a more even, radiant, and smooth complexion without any redness. With consistent use, this will improve the tone and appearance of your skin.

This night cream is good value for money. The INCI list contains some fantastic ingredients and the tub is pretty big for £25.99. A little bit of product goes a long way too.

I enjoy this rejuvenating night cream. It takes a little work to rub in, but once it’s been applied, it works beautifully.

The Napiers Meadowsweet & Marigold Hand and Body Wash claims to be an invigorating and naturally-foaming hand and body wash. It’s supposed to be hydrating, soothing, and softening.

This hand and body wash contains soothing calendula extract, skin-softening wheat germ extract, hydrating glycerin, and skin-smoothing glycine soja oil.

Review

I’ve been using the Meadowsweet & Marigold Hand and Body Wash as a hand wash and really like it.

This hand wash isn’t drying or stripping. Instead, my hands feel fresh and hydrated after using it. It’s not the most nourishing hand wash I’ve ever tried, but it’s certainly gentle.

It smells citrusy, so it’s wonderfully invigorating and refreshing. The scent doesn’t stay on your hands afterwards, though.

1 pump of this hand wash works into a foamy lather quickly. It’s not like some hand washes, where you have to use multiple pumps to effectively wash your hands.

300ml is quite a big bottle too. While it’s not the cheapest hand wash, it certainly feels higher quality than a drugstore alternative.

This is a decent, refreshing hand wash that has a lovely spring scent.

3. Napiers Herbstrong Hair Conditioning Mask

The Napiers Herbstrong Hair Conditioning Mask claims to deeply condition and rejuvenate the scalp and hair. It’s designed to support a healthy scalp and hair by reducing tangles, increasing strength, and delivering marvellous shine.

The formula is enriched with nourishing coconut oil, protective peach kernel oil, softening propanediol, and green tea extract to reduce scalp irritation and prevent hair loss.

Review

As someone with oily, fine, and sleek hair, I’m always cautious of any hair products that are deeply nourishing. They typically are too heavy for my hair and leave my scalp as a greasy, weighed-down mess. But I also understand the importance of conditioning and looking after your scalp, so it’s a difficult balancing act.

That’s why I’m so impressed with the Herbstrong Hair Conditioning Mask.

I use it after shampoo and apply it to damp hair, from my scalp down to my ends. I leave it for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it off. The mask moisturises my hair and scalp without leaving it feeling oily, heavy, or weighed down. The result? Healthy, shiny, and happy hair.

This has a similar scent to the night cream – it’s distinctly botanical. However, the natural fragrance isn’t quite as strong as the night cream and rinses away.

I think this restorative hair mask is excellent value for money. 100ml for a high-quality product that actually works for my hair type when so many others don’t is an absolute steal! Plus, I don’t need to apply much product to make my scalp feel conditioned, so this tub will last me for a while.

As my hair is naturally quite sleek and smooth, I don’t need to regularly apply hair masks, as my hair is in good condition. However, when my hair is in need of some TLC or I want to give my scalp a health boost, this mask will be my go-to.

Overall Napiers review

Napiers impressed me more than I was expecting! These formulas are fairly priced, contain great ingredients, and overall deliver on their claims. All of the products I tried were gentle and hydrating, and they made my skin, hair, and body feel rejuvenated.

This botanical brand isn’t just a gimmick; these natural-led formulas are clearly well thought-out, researched, and deliver genuine results. I’d love to try some more products from Napiers!

Honest Bali Body Hydrating Body Serum review

The Bali Body Hydrating Body Serum is brilliant. It delivers everything I want.

Firstly, I love the texture. It seems quite thick when pumped out, but it absorbs instantly. It’s easy to massage the product into your skin, as the consistency is lightweight. You can’t overdo it by applying too much either, as it simply melts into the skin. You can also keep layering the serum without any pilling.

The serum looks white when it’s dispensed, but it’s invisible once rubbed in.

It has a delightful cooling sensation once applied. It feels very calming and relaxing. Immediately after applying this product, my skin feels hydrated, smooth, plump, and soothed.

Although the differences aren’t necessarily visible, I can feel that this serum makes a difference to my skin. It’s like a refreshing drink for your skin! I didn’t need to apply a moisturiser afterwards, as my skin felt wonderfully hydrated.

The skin on my body isn’t dry. I’ve used a lot of body products in the past that feel heavy, sticky, and don’t absorb. I despise this feeling, as it results in clothes sticking to my skin because the product doesn’t massage in properly, which is both annoying and impractical.

But Bali Body’s latest serum doesn’t leave any stickiness behind, so I can get dressed without worrying that any product is going to stick to my clothes.

Fussy deodorant claims

Fussy deodorant promises to be backed by science to keep your armpits fresh for 24 hours. While it’s not an antiperspirant, which stops sweating, the deodorant claims to keep you free from odour, with the opinion that sweating is natural and should happen.

Fussy says the deodorant will not leave white marks or stains, so your clothes are safe! Each 40g refill is designed to last 4-8 weeks, depending on use.

The deodorant is designed to be suitable for sensitive skin. Although the refills contain bicarbonate of soda, it’s in much smaller amounts than others on the market and at a very high grade, according to the brand.

How to use it

To insert a refill, remove the lid of your case and then the inner cap by squeezing the buttons on the side. Then drop in your refill, and pop the inner cap back on until it clicks. Just make sure you rewind your case all the way back down.

You’re advised to swipe the deodorant once or twice under the armpits.

Honest Fussy deodorant review

Fussy deodorant is an effective natural deodorant.

Let’s start with the packaging. I love the vibrant orange shade of the case and that it’s 100% recyclable. We stan a sustainable brand! It was super easy to insert the refill and less fiddly than other natural deodorant brands I’ve tried.

I was kindly sent 3 scents to try: Wide Eyed (citrus), Cloud Nine (fresh), and Tropic Tonic (lime). Cloud Nine is my fave, as it’s simple and smells like clean cotton, which is very fresh. But all of them smell nice.

The texture of the deodorant sits somewhere between firm and soft. It’s softer than Proverb Skin’s natural deodorant but firmer than Wild Natural Deodorant. The texture is still smooth and gentle when gliding it across my skin. I like the texture a lot!

I’ve had no issues with Fussy leaving white marks or stains on my clothing whatsoever. In fact, even when I’ve applied too much of the deodorant, there have still been no marks, so this is a big tick for me! It’s the most stain-free deodorant I’ve tried on those occasions when I’m a bit too heavy-handed.

Most importantly, Fussy is very effective at keeping my armpits fresh and odour-free all day. Even after a workout, I still smell fresh and clean. It’s way more effective at keeping bad odour away than a traditional antiperspirant and is also far kinder to the planet. A double win!

The whipped body moisturiser is supposed to fight inflammation to calm irritated skin and repair scar tissue. The moisturiser also promises to reduce the appearance of cellulite. It further claims to be non-greasy, fast-absorbing, and lightweight with a natural grapefruit scent. Bali Body says it’s suitable for all skin types and daily use.

Honest Bali Body Antioxidant Body Whip review

I’ve been using the Bali Body Antioxidant Body Whip for about 2 weeks, and it’s a lovely product.

Firstly, the texture is divine. It has this unique whipped consistency that’s rich, thick, and almost fluffy. It’s giving expensive vibes and I love it.

Despite the rich texture, the body moisturiser is surprisingly lightweight and absorbent. I was worried that the product wouldn’t melt into my skin and would sit on top feeling heavy and greasy. But it buffs into the skin effortlessly and doesn’t feel sticky whatsoever.

I love the invigorating grapefruit scent too. It’s fresh, sweet, and citrusy without being overpowering. The scent lasts on the skin for about an hour or so before disappearing.

My favourite thing about this body moisturiser is how nourishing, hydrating, and firming it is. Once applied, my skin immediately feels softer, more moisturised, and smoother. It has a noticeable firming effect too. While the firming sensation is more of a short-term effect, it does make my skin feel very supple and healthy, which I enjoy.

The body moisturiser boasts a strong INCI list, with plenty of great ingredients that nourish, soothe, and hydrate the skin. However, it does contain some potentially irritating fragrances – limonene and linalool – so if you’re sensitive to fragrance or simply don’t like fragranced skincare (natural or synthetic), this is something to be mindful of.

I don’t wear fake tan, so I can’t properly review whether this body moisturiser helps extend the longevity of self-tan.

Do I believe this body moisturiser helps with cellulite? No, not really. Cellulite is very difficult to get rid of and is often down to hormones, lifestyle factors, and genetics. Over-the-counter or prescription creams just don’t cut it, unfortunately. But I went into this review knowing that the cream wouldn’t help with cellulite.

Costing £26.95, you can purchase the Antioxidant Body Whip directly from Bali Body. I think this is a fairly reasonable price. There are a lot of cheaper body moisturisers on the market that do a good job of nourishing the skin. However, this one does feel that bit more luxe and is very indulgent.

If you love decadent body care and want to treat yourself to a rich, lovely-smelling, and truly hydrating moisturiser, you’ll enjoy the Bali Body Antioxidant Body Whip. It’s not a must-have item, but for those all-important self-care days, this is a pampering treat that I’m reaching for a lot. Plus, this would make a gorgeous Mother’s Day gift!

Wild Natural Deodorant claims

Although the brand is natural, and the deodorant isn’t technically an anti-perspirant, the ingredients claim to stop the growth of odour-causing bacteria and keep your armpits smooth and moisturised.

Each 40g refill is designed to last for 4-6 weeks with daily use.

How to use it

Apply a couple of swipes under dry arms at the start of the day or after showering. The texture is a soft bar that is absorbed into the skin when you swipe it on your underarms. Giving it a few minutes to fully soak in can also help!

Honest Wild Natural Deodorant review

I’m thoroughly impressed with Wild Natural Deodorant. In fact, it’s become my new fave deodorant ever.

Let’s start with the packaging. My aluminium case and refill came very neatly packaged. I love that the packaging was all cardboard, i.e. recyclable, so that there was no waste whatsoever. The aluminium case is sturdy and very pretty. I love the purple shade!

The instructions for inserting the refill into the case were very straightforward. There was no faffing around, as you simply pop the refill into the case, twist the bottom up, and use it.

My coconut & vanilla refill smells incredible. It’s sweet without being overpowering or sickly. I’m a sucker for sweet and tropical scents, so this fragrance is 100% me.

The texture of the refill is fantastic. It’s soft and smooth, without being wet or sticky, so it glides over my armpits comfortably. There’s no irritation from having to press down too hard, as the refill does all of the work.

Compared to my previous fave natural deodorant from Proverb Skin, Wild Natural Deodorant has a softer and smoother consistency, which means less irritation on my armpits, as it applies more gently. Plus, I prefer my Wild Natural Deodorant scent to Proverb Skin.

Wild Natural Deodorant is also stain-proof. I had a couple of times with Proverb Skin where I applied too much product (my own mistake, admittedly) and got some white marks on my clothes. However, even if I accidentally apply too much Wild Natural Deodorant, this doesn’t happen.

Most importantly, Wild Natural Deodorant is very effective at keeping body odour at bay all day. It performs just as well as Proverb Skin and keeps me feeling fresh. I’ve found the 24-hour fresh-smelling claim to be true, even after I’ve exercised!

The company is famous for its tanning products, like its Gradual Face Tan, but it also does an excellent range of skincare, personal care, and suncare products. Bali Body has created a tonne of ‘how to’ videos for people looking to apply the brand’s products in the best and most effective way.

Which Bali Body personal care products did I receive?

I received the following 7 Bali Body products to review:

5. Hydrating Conditioner
6. Deodorant
7. Hydrating Sheet Mask

Below I’m going to discuss each Bali Body product individually and justify the reasons why a product made it onto my hit or miss list.

Bali Body hits

The Bali Body personal care products on my hit list are products that I’d happily purchase with my own money. I can see a noticeable difference in my skin when using these products and they perform really well.

Hydrating Sheet Mask

£8.95 for 1 sheet mask

The Bali Body Hydrating Sheet Mask is genuinely one of the nicest sheet masks I’ve ever tried.

Although I’m not a frequent sheet mask user, I enjoy how my skin feels after putting on a mask that’s packed with beneficial ingredients. And the Hydrating Sheet Mask truly is packed with some fantastic ingredients to make skin feel nourished and look more radiant.

It features hydrating glycerin and sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid), humectant butylene glycol, and skin-restoring powerhouse niacinamide to really lock moisture in and instantly make skin feel soft, smooth, and hydrated.

Some sheet masks can be gimmicky, but the Bali Body Hydrating Sheet Mask has seriously pulled through in revitalising my skin and instantly boosting luminosity.

My only criticism is that this sheet mask is definitely on the expensive side. However, I think as a pampering treat or a gift for a loved one, this is a winner.

I’d be very happy to use this moisturising sheet mask again.

Deodorant

£14.95 for 175g

Another product I’m really getting fantastic results from is the Bali Body Deodorant.

This natural aluminium-free deodorant is one of the most comfortable and effective ones that I’ve tried. Some natural deodorants I’ve used can have quite a firm and stiff formula, so when you apply them under your armpits, it can feel a bit rough or aggravate skin if you’re not careful. However, Bali Body’s formula is so smooth and really comfortable to apply. I’ve never experienced any skin sensitivity when applying the deodorant.

Most importantly, the Bali Body Deodorant does a fantastic job at preventing odour throughout the day. It’s really long-wearing. In fact, I’d argue that this lasts all day and even prevents odour when working out. It seriously has great longevity.

This natural deodorant has a lovely sweet scent too. It is fragranced, though, so that’s something to be mindful of if you’re sensitive to perfumed cosmetics.

My only criticism is that because this deodorant has quite a silky and wetter texture than other deodorants, it has a tendency to leave white patches on clothes if you’re not careful. A firmer consistency would probably prevent that. But I think this is quite a minor point for a deodorant that works so well and feels kind to the skin.

Bali Body misses

The Bali Body personal care products on my miss list are products that I wouldn’t buy with my own money, could do with some improvements, or just simply aren’t for me. Some of this is down to my preferences, but I don’t believe that some of these personal care products are up to Bali Body’s usual high quality.

Body Wash

£19.95 for 250ml

Unfortunately, the Bali Body Body Wash misses the mark for me.

As a basic body wash, this does an effective job of cleansing my skin. It has a subtle, pleasant, sweet, and slightly aromatic fragrance.

However, I’ve used drugstore body washes that are less than a quarter of the price, clean my skin just as well, and smell nicer too. Honestly, I love a really strong sweet scent in my body washes, so that’s 100% a personal decision. Think tropical and vanilla vibes. The Bali Body Body Wash is not as fragrant as I’d like it to be.

I also wish this body wash lathered up more. I feel like I have to use a lot of pumps for the product to lather up and thoroughly cleanse my body. It means I’m getting through the bottle really quickly – and it’s not cheap!

Bali Body says that the Body Wash is supposed to be luxuriously hydrating and soothing. If I’m honest, I don’t find it particularly moisturising or soothing. I was expecting more from a body wash that costs just shy of £20!

I’m not a fan of the body wash and have drugstore faves for about a fifth of the price that outperform this one. Sorry!

Shower Oil

£22.95 for 250ml

The Bali Body Shower Oil is another product that I’m not impressed with.

I want to love this product, but I simply don’t. It’s described as a lavish, rich, and intensely nourishing shower oil that restores and repairs skin. While it helps hydrate the skin a little, it doesn’t compare to using a body lotion.

On me, the Shower Oil leaves a weird slime on my skin. And don’t get me started on how slippery this formula is! It’s a nightmare to rinse away in the shower – both off my skin and just out of the shower itself. I find it really oily and inconvenient to use rather than the luxe experience I was expecting.

I will say that I don’t think this shower oil is designed for my skin type. The skin isn’t dry or dehydrated. Perhaps on drier skin that needs a moisture boost, this Shower Oil would work wonders.

I’m not a fan of this shower oil and didn’t enjoy the experience at all.

Body Scrub

£20.95 for 250ml

The Bali Body Body Scrub isn’t bad, but I’ve simply used better.

The scrub does a decent job of buffing away dead skin cells and making skin feel softer and smoother. As far as body scrubs go, the Bali Body one doesn’t feel too abrasive on the skin and is mildly hydrating.

What I’m not so keen on is the texture. It’s quite grainy and I find that once you start rubbing the scrub over your body, it sort of disintegrates, and the product falls apart in clumps. This is quite wasteful, as I don’t get to use the full amount of product due to the formula. Again, it means I’m getting through the bottle quickly. And it’s quite pricey!

I’ve used other body scrubs that do a better job of exfoliating my skin, making it fool more nourished, and feel better while I’m using them. Plus, this is quite an expensive body scrub, so I wouldn’t personally purchase this.

Hydrating Shampoo

£18.95 for 250ml

I’d describe the Bali Body Hydrating Shampoo as simply “okay”.

I have a very oily scalp and would never pick a hydrating shampoo for my hair type. Often, nourishing shampoos will make my hair greasy really quickly, which I hate. This one, surprisingly, doesn’t make my hair get oily too quickly and doesn’t weigh down my straight fine hair either.

But, I’m just not mad about the shampoo. It cleans my hair well, and that’s about it. I don’t find it particularly hydrating, interestingly.

Again, I find that I have to use a lot of pumps of the shampoo for it to lather up properly and cover my scalp. Bali Body recommends using 2 pumps of the Hydrating Shampoo and massaging it into your scalp. I’m honestly using at least 8 pumps to feel like I can fully distribute shampoo throughout my scalp. This means the shampoo isn’t cost-effective, as I’m getting through it quicker than my usual shampoos.

The shampoo isn’t bad just nothing to rave about.

Hydrating Conditioner

£18.95 for 250ml

I also find the Bali Body Hydrating Conditioner quite average.

The conditioner does an okay job of conditioning the ends of my hair. The texture is soft and silky. After using it, my hair feels a bit more hydrated and nourished. Honestly, though, I use very basic conditioners as my hair isn’t dry, dehydrated, or damaged, so I don’t need intense nourishment.

For this reason, I think the conditioner is pretty overpriced. It’s nothing special. I’ve used conditioners that cost about £3 and work just as well – if not better – than the Bali Body Hydrating Conditioner.

Overall Bali Body personal care range verdict

Overall, I don’t think this personal care range is up to Bali Body’s usual standard.

Let’s start with the positives.

I like the packaging and the modern neutral colour scheme. It makes a change to a lot of the body and hair care products you’d usually see when shopping! #ShelfieGoals

I’m a big fan of the Deodorant and Hydrating Sheet Mask. They both work really well, and I’d happily buy them with my own money. I particularly think the sheet mask is a standout, as it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever tried. It’s just a bit pricey!

Unfortunately, there are a fair few negatives in this review.

I think the personal care line is overpriced. In all of the products that are on the “miss” list, I can’t justify the pricing. The products don’t perform as well as some of my drugstore personal care faves but are about 4x the price.

And, to be honest, I just don’t think the products on my “miss” list are very effective. They don’t deliver on the luxurious claims and descriptions, and I haven’t seen any transformative results.

It’s a shame, as I’m usually a huge Bali Body fan, but this personal care line just missed the mark for me.
