Okay, so I’ve seriously been sleeping on CurrentBody‘s serums, as they’ve helped soothe, brighten, hydrate, and add glow to my skin.
I recently got the chance to try the CurrentBody Skin The Power of Four Skincare Set. After being blown away by the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask, I had high hopes for the serums. I’m a sucker for a good serum. And I’ve tried so many over the years that I can spot a great serum. The key is for them to be lightweight, absorbent, non-sticky, and deliver noticeable results in the long term.

As well as making skin brighter, moisturised, hydrated, glowy, and soothed, this go-to serum kit is also designed to enhance the anti-ageing benefits of LED light therapy devices.
Below, I will share my honest thoughts on each serum individually before moving on to my overall CurrentBody serums review.
CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum

The CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum is designed to calm and soothe the skin. It contains hydrating glycerin, the humectant propylene glycol, soothing green tea leaf extract, and AHA citric acid.
I really like this serum. On application, it immediately relieves my skin of any irritation or sensitivity. While it doesn’t instantly reduce redness if I have a rosacea flare-up, it will help calm down redness within a few hours of applying this serum.
As someone with mild rosacea, I appreciate having calming serums in my skincare routine. It means whenever my skin is feeling more sensitive or aggravated than usual, I have a trusty option to fall back on. Right now, my go-to soothing hero is the CurrentBody Skin Green Tea Serum for these occasions.
This serum particularly works well with the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask, as it helps to boost the anti-ageing effects of the mask. I’ve got an article coming very soon on the blog proving the benefits of combined red light therapy and green tea skincare, so stay tuned!

A lovely serum that’s ideal for my skin.
CurrentBody Skin Daily Restoring Serum

The CurrentBody Skin Daily Restoring Serum aims to supercharge your skin in the morning with an invigorating caffeine burst. It’s enriched with brightening niacinamide, anti-ageing bakuchiol, the humectant sodium gluconate, and hydrating glycerin.
What I like about this serum is it does a bit of everything. It’s quite energising, as it’s cooling on the skin, which I love. It’s gentle and absorbs quickly. The serum is distinctly hydrating. And it helps make my skin look a little glowier and brighter.
This is the serum I reach for when I’m on a time crunch, can’t layer multiple serums, and want a multi-tasking diva.
Besides water, the powerhouse ingredient, niacinamide, is the second ingredient on the INCI list. I adore niacinamide as it delivers so many benefits to the skin, particularly for people with oily skin like me, as it helps to visibly reduce the appearance of pores and control excess sebum throughout the day.

CurrentBody Skin Glow Serum

The CurrentBody Skin Glow Serum makes your skin look luminous and bright. It’s formulated with the humectant propylene glycol, energising caffeine, hydrating glycerin, and stable vitamin C ascorbic acid.
This serum is excellent for when you want your skin to immediately look more radiant. I’m a glow addict, so I tend to be obsessed with vitamin C serums. This one is nice. The glow is quite subtle but looks very much like ‘your skin but better’.
Now, I’d be lying if I said this was my fave vitamin C serum because it’s not. But this one does add some instant luminosity to my skin and generally makes it look bright. It also works well with the other serums in the CurrentBody Skin The Power of Four Skincare Set, so you can easily layer this for added hydration.

A good and more affordable vitamin C option.
CurrentBody Skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum

The CurrentBody Skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum claims to plump skin and lock in moisture all day. It features the humectant propylene glycol, hydrating glycerin, fragrant orange oil, and hydrating superstar hydrolysed hyaluronic acid.
This is a reliabke serum to make your skin feel more hydrated throughout the day. It’s best to apply hyaluronic acid serums to damp skin, as it clings to that water and locks the moisture in. The serum provides an immediate moisture surge, but hydration also lasts throughout the whole day. Plus, it helps make skin feel smoother and plumper with a dewy effect.
This isn’t my fave ever hyaluronic acid serum, but it’s a simple yet effective formula that works. Compared to a lot of serums on the market, this CurrentBody serum is pretty affordable too.
Rating: 4 stars
I like using this serum, particularly when I’m wearing makeup, as it helps keep my base smooth and even.
Overall thoughts on the CurrentBody Skin serums

The CurrentBody Skin The Power of Four Skincare Set is a fab option for people looking to mix and match their serums. It would make a perfect Christmas present for a skincare lover and anyone looking to add some new serums to their routine.
The packaging is simple and straightforward to use. The droppers pick up quite a lot of product, so you don’t need to use the full amount of liquid that’s picked up in the dropper.
All 4 CurrentBody serums have a similar texture. They’re thicker than your typical serum and have a slightly gloopy consistency. Despite this, they still feel fairly lightweight on the skin and absorb relatively quickly. However, they do feel slightly sticky on the skin. It’s nothing too bad, and the sensation disappears when you apply a moisturiser, but they do make my skin feel a bit tacky. I’ve used other consistencies that are nicer.
I think this is a great little set of simple yet effective serums. Each serum does what it’s supposed to do and delivers noticeable results, especially when paired with one of CurrentBody’s LED masks. So if you’re looking for a versatile set of serums that help brighten, smooth, soothe, hydrate, deliver glow, and help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, this is a worthwhile purchase.
For Black Friday, the CurrentBody Skin The Power of Four Skincare Set is on sale for £49, which is a bargain! That equates to each serum being around £12. And these serums perform better than most others I’ve tried at that price point.

Will you be picking up this serum kit during the Black Friday sale?
These all sound really good! And I do like using droppers even if I only need a few drops from them. I often find other ones quite messy to use.
